Which one to buy: Corolla Facelift Vs Pre-facelift

I am looking to buy a 2017 model corolla, either gli or altis automatic. Which one is better in terms of resale and maintenance if i wish to keep the car for next 2/3 years? I am open to manual transmission as well but first choice will be automatic. And what budget should I keep in mind for a low mileage/well maintained vehicle?

I have FL grande and it has passenger seat rattling problem, tuk tuk noise from door panel on uneven roads. I temporarily kept someone else's gli 2015 and it did not have the problems which I am facing
