Brother, I've a Yamaha YB100 2-Stroke... I always use shell oils and fuel in it. And do you know how much mileage I get? 37km/l! Which is impressive for a 2-Stroke motorcycle... And the engine, after one and a half decade, still sound like a new engine!
Tell you what, take an empty beverage bottle, and go to any non-shell petrol pump to buy petrol and the 'pumping guy' won't at all be happy about you buying petrol in a bottle. And if you continue bringing that bottle, then the guy will probably start to act all grumpy and may start to insult you! Or even refuse to sell petrol to you...
Not Shell!!!
I almost always buy petrol in bottles and they never raise an eye brow!
Tells something, now doesn't it?
The reason they object to customers buying petrol in clear plastic bottles is because Petrol color tells a lot about petrol's quality...
Most petrol look 'Brown-ish', whereas Shell Petrol look just 'red'. Without any brown shade or tint.
FORGET TOTAL! IT'LL 'TOTAL' YOUR CAR, LOL!
