Which radiator is best?

i believe thin radiator with good fan works great...as the more volume of air can pass through in a given period of time....i have used OEM double core and OEM single core and found that single core is better is dissipating heat....

the core and fins must be in good shape and not blocked....

if u can find a copper core radiator with plastic tanks...then nothing beats that....

aluminium is good but copper core is best

Today my car`s Radiator got leaked and now im thinking to replace it instead of repairing it as i use AC in such temperature of karachi...

i touched a radiator shop at Plaza today he gave me 3200/= price for single lined radiator new.

i wanna ask if single channel radiator is good or the dual channel radiator is better ?

car is Suzuki Khyber 1990..

also fix camber in front wheels to save the tyres and improvement in drive...

I had loads ltd cut me a 28 in wide 13 in tall radiator for side to side tanks. Excellent quality, no complaints. I then used my trusted oldschool metalman to make me the end tanks, braces and feet with rubber cushions. Soldered it with good quality flux and new solder wire from bought from Bohrapir.

Never had a problem. Radiator making is not just slapping parts together, the tanks must be tight fit and the solder used to seal only, not for mechanical strength. Proper installation is also mandatory as vibration kills radiators.

@xulfiqar their website tells the same they people import cores & rest of the work is done locally. The problem i have faced is the leakage from end tanks my car's old unit is also from loads & its still working perfect even the half of the fins have been desolved. But i realy mind if i pay for genuine product & found its end tanks joint leaking & mouniting placed impropoerly, another aproach was to get it welded for 100 Rs but i dont want to promote this approach. thats why in lieu of replacement i opted a silver core option which is atleast prcisely manufactured. The source is famous authorised PS parts dealer who told that 5~10 % units have complaints & for rest of the 90% cases i believe people wud have got them further repaired rather then replacing them.

Now if one say that reatiler are selling their factory rejects without informing them then its also not true beacuse the box etc even the imbosed satmps on tank are available on them.So if they people (Loads Management ) are quailty concious & cutomer centric then the shud destroy rejects uint or atleast their identity/stmaps from them so the end user couldnt be cheated.

cant say for mounting points - I have always bought them as a blank core and had the tanks and braces shaped by hand.

You are 100% correct that they as a brand should do something to control this sort of bad product hitting the market.
