its pretty much hard job to change tire,i tried once and i couldnt do it,lifting the car is the hardest job with the tools,i tried turning that thing n it didnt moved even an inch from me

Yokohama Aspec are soft tires
Yokohama A-Drive is little hard

i am quite careful with all bumps n holes
but sometimes they just come out from no where

i guess bridgestone might be better then cox islamabad roads are not that good,n start to create lots of holes when it starts raining,even on new roads :S

checked the market for prices today
bridgestone MY01 was not available at most of the shops

anyways em confused which1 to select now,
MY01
AVS (is Advan the same thing?cox on packing it was only AVS written,n shop guys knew it by name of DB)
or M energy saver (no1 had german either they had italy or USA or france)

also they said smuggled tires brand new same thing is available for 1000rs cheaper :o

btw driving fast on bumps n holes wont give any issue with bridgestone right?

n michellin was extremely soft but em worried about bulging out issue,though em more inclined towards michelin since they are light weight but towards MY01 as well since they are hard n wont give any issue but dont know how will be the driving with the hard tires

Yokohama dB has '3' variants

DNA dB Decible (First generation, discontinued)

AVS dB Decible(Second Generation, In production)

ADVAN db Decible(Third generation, In production)

Its better to get ADVAN db if you can. As its around 1000-1500 rupee's expensive then the AVS db. But iam using AVS db in my 2010 civic and they are working flawlessly.

Bridgestone MY-01 is HARD tire and its not something worth spending when you have tires like dB around.

they all had AVS 95V DB 550
none had advan
infact when i asked then for AVS/ADVAN they said they just have DB 550 which was AVS

how about michellin energy saver (ITALY),is it better than AVS?
it was extremely softer than AVS,the shop guy said they are very light n car runs faster with them cox of light weight

The michellin energy saver is rated at xxx/xx R15 91H where as the AVS dB is rated at 95V.

The V rated tires are not actually hard, they are only built on better standards and undergo more stringent testing procedures which ensures their survival till 240 Kph. Where as 'H' rated tires would burst at 210 kph if driven for more then few minutes. Which means even if you drive at 150kph, The 'H' rated tires would be more prone of giving up as compared to V rated tires.

You can check ANY tire. The W rated tires would feel harder then V rated but when you fill air you wont be feeling ANY difference at all. Its just V rated tries are built for medium sized cars like civic, corolla, accord, camry etc.

Just ask them the meaning of '91' in the 91H part and i bet he would not know it. Its the load rating index. Higher the numerical figure, more weight tires can withstand. That is why the tires of Land Cruisers have figures like 125T means that each tire can withstand 1650kg of weight.

Where as 95V in AVS dB means the each tire can carry 690kg of weight and reach upto 240kph safely.
