did I write hands? - sorry - muscle memory going on coffee here - I have seen a wartburg and smelled it too, its 5 magnitudes worse than a mehran.

btw - the drug screen was in jest.

m13a is being used in suzuki jimny since 2001 so your are saying that the engine runs fine in suzuki jimny since 2001 and got some problem in liana and PS requested suzuki japan to change the head of the engine :S

you have not driven scary cars - I have driven a suzuki carry dabba with 180 degrees steering freeplay (yes you read that correct), rear hatch hinges rusted, brakes on the front left and rear right wheels only, transmission that only worked in 1st, 2nd and 4th gear, shorted wiring, no seat padding.

at 100 km/h from malir cantt to Hotel Mehran (some stretches were 100 km/h)

yes - old farty right there - honestly if you see this car in real life and then inspect a mehran the mehran would be 10000% times better.

lol i am enjoying too, the way he is proving all my accusations wrong with his baseless points, it depends on the car too and it doesn't matter if engine is same for eg, Vitz 2005-10 is popular with knocking, vibration and pick issues while Toyota Passo using the same 1kr-fe engine has none of the above complaints

@muradi the things you don't want to admit your are using the same engine under your hood which your are calling a unreliable engine ok liana is flop with many issue then why in 8 year of usage my car run like new and I know vitz and passo share same engine but vitz have knocking issues due to vitz is very heavy for that small engine passo is light in weight no technical difference in engine of both and I have liana 2006 lxi and my czn have 2009 vuru I often drive vuru no difference at all in performance I already told you why showroom owner and mechanic are spreading the info of two different m13a liana is still running in china,bagladesh and europe with m series engine and its a successful car from the begging go ask any suzuki mechanic they will tell you that swift and liana have same break and check any lxi it will have same break as your swift dlx

Arey merey pyarey Bhai, mein ne kab aur kahan kaha ke liana or Swift ka engine different hai??? :S . Bhai duniya mein changes aur alteration bhi ek cheez hoti hai. Liana when freshly launched had some major manufacturing faults and the 3S mechanics were not able to understand it properly, the cars head created issues and the coils would blow up, the CNG kit technology used was very advanced which the mechanics could not understand and to top it all up the Engine had the above issues, the car being built with low quality material resulted in various problems. Liana also has backfiring and missing issues aswell, this was the reason why Liana got the badge of FLOP in Pakistan. and after seeing the downfall of Liana, Suzuki tried to bring her back to life by making necessary changes in the Engine and by modifiying the head, and minor Cosmetic changes and Liana Vurv was born which is a good car and does not have issues but people don't buy it because of the horror of the old Liana. Why would any showroom spread wrong info about a car, dont they wanna sell their own product? .Liana has been discontinued worldwide but as per PakShitzuki's bull$hit policy to bring all the regected cars to Pakistan. And about the brakes, yes Swift has the same brakes which aren't good either .
Suzuki was facing a serious downfall and they badly needed a good car so they launched Swift but this time the quality was kept strict keeping in mind the Liana wala issue

Suzuki Mehran VXR EURO II 2014

Seriously, The newer the model the worse it gets. Brought home 3 brandnew Mehrans in my life from shpwroom to home. Two uncle's and one was ours. Years were 2002, 2005 & 2014 (last week from macca motors)

Mehrans are getting worse.
1. Gear shifting is a task. Those who own it, know it. Its really a pain. Initially we thought there was a problem.
2. Ac knob, fresh air pull/push lever, speedometer lights, indicator lever...built quality has gone far worse.

Feeling for Pakistan. Kab tak ye bura time rahey ga. Hum peechey ja rahey hai na ke aagey
