First thing is better to buy the car of the same city registered. People here in Karachi even dont want to buy cars of Lahore Islamabad and other cities cars as well. Offcourse problems in police checking are there and resale will be lesss. Its the general scenario.
Second, people buy Karachi registered cars in lahore and other cities, because they get these cars at cheap rates as compared to their own cities. Its not due to poor roads and rusty whether conditions. Just they buy in good rates, as the used cars in karachi are cheapest, duty to heavey sale and purchase activity, as its the industrial hub of pakistan and the city of highest population. Cars in khi are more so sale is more too, however the small cities have less sale and purchase acitivity. The richest people are here and they keep on changing the cars so frquently .All multinational and national companies give cars to their staff, which they write off and sale after its period of 5 years. All the imported cars come to Karachi Port and come in the city at cheap rates. Not the cars, but all the imported items are cheap in Karachi as compared to other cities............ are they rusty too???................ lol. Just read news and study economics. The greater the demand and supply, the more the trade and offcourse less the price would be.
If lahorities never been to karachi recently, then they offcourse dont know about how good the roads are in karachi, as compared to other cities. Secondly karachi is so big that more than 2 lahores (population wise and area wise) can be fit in Karachi very easily in it. Only the areas too close to sea have the impact of rust.
Third the most important thing, those people not living in karachi and have very little knowlege (which is a dangerous thing) , let me tell you a fact.... the plant of indus motors, where are the corollas and daihatsu are being made and new imported vehicles like Camary & Hilux are also there, is at Port Qasim, which is very very close to sea............ Secondly the manufacturing plant of Suzuki and Cheverlet Joy are also there at Port Qasim, which is very close to see. so is the probably case of Nissan Ghandara and few other companies and trucks, that are being made at Port Qasim. I guess , these companies are not mad to make cars near sea (at port qasim in Karachi) and keep at stock for long time. All the imported vehicle like Vitz, Belta etc etc. come at Karachi port and remain theire for months (unregistered), which people in other cities, buy ......... happily. Are not they rusty too..........!! lol
Fourthly, since the most expensive cars of Pakistan are always here in Karachi, robbery of cars here too, such cars illegaly go to either Quetta ........... then afghanistan or they go to Peshawar ....... to trible areas. Later some people bring those stolen cars to isb and lhr probably thru false number plates or false documents or whatever. Since karachi is far away from lahore and islamaabad, thats why it becomes hard for Karachi police to find that particuar car. I myself seen most of the vehicles in Quetta interior and NWFP are of Karachi and most of them were illegal.
I hope stupid people like the one who created this thread, should not create such inter provincial or racial threads, which could create brutance among the Pak wheel members. I hope i have cleared all the aspects......... whether someone agree or not, but its the reality................!!!!!!!!!!!!!
