The 1.5l(1500cc) Premio is UNDERPOWERED!.I dont know why they say the Belta 1000cc is underpowered but it's not seriously.I drove my uncle's Premio 2005 1.5l(1500cc) it was a awful drive:( it was like the engine was literally pulling the car:).Although it has nice features:).Then I drove my Belta it had a better reaction time and pick then the Premio.If you want to go for the Premio I advise you not to go for the 1500cc go for the 1.8l(1800cc) or the 2.0l(2000cc) it will be much better then the 1.5l(1500cc) Premio.Trust me:)

LOL. Buddy if the 1.5l Premio is underpowered. Then so is the 1.0l Belta. My friend has 1.5l Premio, I drive it frequently and its an awesome car. But only driven on HI OCTANE, your uncles car must have really high mileage or driven on LPG. ;;

As far as the shape is concerned, I HATE IT, its horrible, the front may be just okay, but the rear looks like an old grandparents car. ;;

Also Premio has wonderful mileage, NO need for CNG etc.

I haven't seen any Premio X's lately. They probably are mostly in Quetta area. Where NCP and smuggled cars work?

premio is a much better car as compared to Honda civic of pakistan and toyota corolla Altis but since it i new in market its not that common

Ncp premios do come but there r many legal premios too.
I havent seen any Markx300G in Qta, it means there r no legal 300G in pakistan

Even I was confused before I bought a Premio 1.5 because many people said that it was underpowered. Previously I had 1.5 X Corolla and reborn as well. When it comes to drive, even Corolla X had the drive of light car. Driving Premio is much better in terms of stability and has a feel of bigger car which sorry to say reborn hasnt have it. Obviously 1.5 Premio has lesser pick than Corolla X. I drive quite rash so I get average of 10.8 to 11.3 per liter with 16 RIM and 205 low profile tyres. As far as automatic transmission is concerned, I sold my reborn prosmatic because I was disappointed with gear shift and toyota auto is no doubt much better... In the end, its not only about pick, it is about a good noiseless drive, less cabin noises, small small features, safety, car weight etc which defines a car... I wouldnt want to compare with Civic anyway. If you compare with Accord CF3 or CL7, then I will review again my comments but with local assemble light weight Civic, I personally will give edge to boring looking and old model of premio.

Premio is 100 times better than civic.Whether its 1.5 or 1.8 and there is a Premio G version which is 2.0 but its rare and who said premio is underpowered.I use to drive it every single day and its one hell of a ride.Dont ever compare it to our locally manufactured cars whether its corolla or civic.Premio is premio.(Y)(Y)

I have a 2005 1.5 Premio and I dont know why people say it is under power. If someone thinks so, come and drive mine. However, let me also state that I dont like 1.8 Prosmatic because I thought it was stiff car. I wanted to change car because of insurance reasons and left the idea because driving 1.8 civic wasnt so good. The fuel it does is also very good, it gives me 10.7 on local with 16 inch rim and 205 tyres and I am driver with heavy foot.

Nothing beats the drive of premio, pure pleasure and luxury civic is no match but civic is brand new and has more features.
