i have kept a mint condition charade.

still i would recommend you to go for khyber, simply because parts are easily available, and cheap. both body and engine parts.

Charade is better in all aspects in comparison to Khyber.

But it has almost become impossible to find a good enough Charade. Mostly are abused by now and minimum cost of good repairing mostly crosses the vehicle actual value. That's why people do not spend, what car requires and then blame the car k Charade farigh gaari hai.

Once Charade backs to its life then its peace very less maintenance as compare to Khyber.

Drive of charade is much more planted. brakes are good. body is strong and spacious. .. but and only but if you find one in good original condition.... condition turned good by restoration job doesnt mean they are free of hassles. look for original unaltered interior, factory mounted engine and and rust free chassis. else no value at all. even messed up brakes on an old car will make you pull your hairs in frustration. Same goes for Khyber as well.

Telling you from my experience of charade G11 8 year back which had serious rust and brakes issues. and now i own another charade G100 with no rust at all and every thing factory fitted in good strong condition.

These cars were sold more than two decades ago. And I REALLY doubt it's a bright idea to buy these senior cars in 2019.

yes. it was the reason i sold my car. it was simply OLD. even though body and interior was in mint condition. rubber parts were shot and hard to find good quality parts.

i could have rebuilt it, but the cost would never have been recovered had i sold the car later.

however when you are on a short budget, you dont have much option.

Plus, there are numerous examples on Pakwheels where people have spent millions to get brand new Cultus or City or Corolla and even then they remain frustrated because of quality issues. Warranty claim k chakkar, insurance premium overhead, extra tax, insane spare parts prices.
