Wide Steel rims

AoA everyone,
I am looking for 14 or 15 inch steel rims for my Honda City iDSI 2007. The issue with most steel rims available in the market is that their width is too narrow. I need rims that are at least 7 inches wide.

The original rims on my car are 13 inches in diameter and likely 5 or 5.5 inches wide. As a result, the rear tyres sit too far inward, which gives the car an odd look even with 185 width tyres installed.

I know alloy rims are widely available, but unfortunately, they are out of my budget.

So, if anyone has any leads on where I can find such rims in Lahore, it would be greatly appreciated.

The width isnt the issue (Unless you want wider steelies), it's the offset. Check what the offset is on your current steelies. If your front ones are lined up perfect, just replace the rears with something that has a lower offset value. The rim will stick out further from your hub and it'll give the car a wider rear stance. These can be of the same width as the fronts (5 or 5.5 as these are pretty common sizes in width for steelies)

e.g. An et35 rim will sit further in than a et25 rim.

If you increase the width of the rim to say 7" wide and the ET is the same as your current rim, there's a good chance you'll end up with the rim hitting the suspension parts (strut, sway bar etc)

@devils_smile Thank you for the detailed response. You are absolutely right that the offset matters but as far as I know I don't think steel rims (standard black rims) come with different offset values. Tbh, they all look same to me.

You gotta read the numbers on the rims. The offset totally depends on the manufacturers standards so even though the same 15" steelies that come on the aqua, axio, yaris etc (all 100x4 5jj/5.5jj) might look the same, their offset might be different

But like I said, look at the offset and use a tool like willtheyfit.com
