World wide currently Honda is manufacturing facelift of 6th Generation. 7 th generation hasn't been launched yet

IMO, Honda Atlas is playing quite prudently by sticking to the same model. Because with newer model, price would have to be increased by at least 2.5-3 lac. At current model/price, honda city is cheapest option in sedan category. It even beats many popular JDMs like Aqua.

Still it is cheapest in its segment. Whether new generation is launched in 2018 or 2019, resale of current city is not going to be much affected at all because of high demand in this price range. Only the resale of car having some major problem in its exterior/engine will be affected. But if you want to switch over to corolla, earn some own, include this amount and book a corolla. Although, you will have to wait for a while but you definitely will be getting a more premium and market oriented car.

Yeah I have decided my car arrived and I am selling it on own and going to book Corolla or wagon r as same own with less investment.
