Lets discuss our gears one by one start from Shoes

Trekking Shoes: Must be water proof. Other wise water/Snow may wet your feet and it will be very hard to keep dry the feet later on in such a cold/chilled situation. An extra pair will be must because due to heavy snow there is a chance of wetty shoes.

Woolen Socks: A couple of extra socks(than planned) would be very helpful in such conditions. Even if any case your shoes get wet then use a double pair of socks, wear a polythene over socks and then wear your wet shoes. Polythene can avoid your socks to get wet and double pair of socks warm your feet well.

Gaiters: Gaiters are garments worn over the shoe and lower pants leg, and used primarily as personal protective equipment.Originally, gaiters were made of leather. Today, gaiters for walking/trekking are commonly made of plasticized synthetic cloth such as polyester.

Insulated Jacket/Down Jacket: Down Jacket(Preferable) and any other warm Jacket or Insulated Jacket

Ponchoo/Parka jacket: Ponchoo is a multipurpose fabric which can be used as a Rain Coat, A wind Breaker, A sitting/restig chitai. Parka jacket not only protect from rain but it also acts as wind breaker too.

Woolen Cap, Woolen Mufler or Woolen Balclava are also essential along with socks.
