The purpose of these threads seem to mock corolla but still I'll answer this with my own experience.
A friend's grande delivered at the end of may 2016 had perfect alignment(car went dead straight when steering wheel is left), wheels perfectly balanced and no wobble tested upto 140-150 except that steering wheel angles was a bit off. Showroom guys acknowledged this and promised free wheel alignment.
He got the wheels replaced with 17" and went for alignment and wheel balancing, showroom guys charged only for wheel balancing since those weren't genuine and we went out for a test drive with their technician driving. he drove up to 130kph to satisfy us but we provoked him of speeding upto 180 by saying, 140 par tw ne kary gi, 160 par tw ne kary gi upon each question he sped to the said speed and car didn't wobble a tiny bit. we tested it ourselves upto 200 later and nope, grande doesn't wobble, it is highly stable and compared to 9th gen civic, driving it at speed doesn't feel like car is stressed.
Same friend's cousins' civic has unbalanced tyres and improper wheel alignment, it wobbles at certain speeds like 130ish but stops wobbling above and below that so we got it aligned last week and wheels were balanced at Heera Tyres Sialkot but still it feels like car gets really light and unstable from rear when braking hard and we were advised to get its brakes checked from Honda though the brakes were serviced just 5000KMs ago. That cousin also has a GLi 2016 that we have tested up to 160 and it doesn't wobble either.
That civic has seen pretty rough driving over time so I wouldn't blame Honda building a car that doesn't drive right it. It only needs a proper service of suspension and brakes but I believe under the same driving a corolla won't wobble or show such braking behavior even over double mileage. (civic is some 40k driven)
Conclusion: You can't blame a car for not driving right if you can't maintain it right. Not even once you replied whether you got wheels aligned and balanced. If people were blaming me for starting a fight, I'd post a video of phenomenon and receipts of maintenance work done. Both are good brands that offer a different set of characteristics in their car's get the one that suits you better.
