they played it safe and a bit boring, the a4 was lacking behind its competitors in review test and i dont see how this model and claw back a podium finish but i bet it'll be really refined now and interior finish looks really promising. looks way too similar to audi a3 though not preimium enough.

1.4 tfsi is going to be offered for sure..

I spoked to Audi Pak country manager they will wait for 1.8tfsi engine in new A4 the reason is the 1.4tfsi require premium fuel which is not available in Pakistan (95-97) octane as u see they didnt launched in A3 also but they brought 1.2tfsi instead even though 1.4tfsi is the best selling in Europe due to new 1.4tfsi (cod) cylinder on demand which can shutoff two cylinder wen power not needed.....A6 was never made in 1.8tfsi but Audi brought it for Asian countries as 2.0 and 2.8 was not selling hot due to high duty price above 1800cc

To be honest that's true, it's only when you look close and pay some extra attention that tells the difference. Apart from Sportbacks and Coupe's

Then how is audi pak offering Q3 in 1.4tfsi. Which engine is that ?
Most probably that is the same engine that they are offering for A3 globally.

that very good Question and I did asked this same question wen I booked my A3 in November last year, they came up with fuel requirement excuses and the price of 1.4tfsi A3 sedan wud cost almost same as 1.8tfsi A3 sedan like 2-3 lacs difference.....so they opted for 1.2tfsi engine A3 sedan to make more price gap between 1.2 and 1.8....also this 1.2tfsi engine was made for A3 hatchback/sportback but the sedan was specially arranged for Pakistan n some other countries in South America

Btw A4 engine are longitudinal mount and A3 engine are transversely mount and there's 3 different type of 1.4tfsi one is 125hp, 2nd is 140hp n 3rd is 150hp..... obviously new upcoming A4 is getting 150hp 1.4tfsi as its big sedan compare to A3 n it will be first time A4 will be getting 1.4tfsi engine
