Both ujalla and laptop scheme are for the upcoming elections and corruption.They bought the solar system which was worth $90 for $120.Same goes with the laptop scheme they stated that the Punjab government has purchased each laptop for Rs 35,000, but the actual price is Rs25,000.

actually the metro bus cost around 30 billion so far, thats what I heard from the news channel....
and as far as power station is concerned, no 100billion is not enough for entire province power supply...not even enough for half...maybe quator at most

I was talking about the power plant reducing load shedding to minimum for that amount ull get at most 900mw thats enough to shorten the load shedding times of punjab atleast. But then these guys are wasting money all over the place and if they had been this smart Pakistan would of been competing with china and india rather then getting bashed by a small country like bangladesh.

^^and what do you run the plant on? (gas and oil is out of question and coal cost around a $1million+ per MW)

and u need several gigawatts to solve the problem and you need high efficiency plants, not garbage like we have right now.

^ solution to all problem.. Cheap hydro power.. Political rivalry have made it do difficult to go for mega project.. Being from nowshera , I am 100 percent for the mega dam.. If we dont start building today by next 10 years u will be running around for power.. Alternate sources of oil and gas or coal are just temp solution for now.. We have so many sites to build hydro electric.. Just need sincere efforts

A nice dasti bum can become a nightmare for this project. Allah sab ko apni hifazat me rakhay. I wish these kind of projects come more often in Pakistan, but with current security situation I doubt it.
