Guys We have Started a Project and looking for Investors to build World's Highest Cricket Ground In Deosai Plains Gilgit Baltistan region.

We Have got success in Planning and Design and some how in funding as well just Pray for us to Make this Dream Come True for Pakistan.

And This will be a Monument in the Worlds most Beautiful and highest places and it will make many economic opportunities for the locals as well.

Deosai Plains are Very Beautiful Place in Pakistan and its one of the highest Plateau in the World.

I think one of the most important aspect to look for besides the transport and accomodation facilites is you can't run at that place buddy:)

The lack of air pressure due to the altitude thingy can be felt at Deosai planes. Do keep this in mind. Otherwise it is a brilliant idea. Would love to see a match there besides one of the beautifull lakes (H)

Well Thats Not Going to be a Full Time Cricket Ground But just a Part Time One. And That will Definitely give the Boost to Tourism and local economy.

All the Planning is Done and TBH Its easier to Build that Stadium in Deosai than the One in a Big City. . . .

From investment point of it might not be a good idea. Who would like to play cricket there ? Polo @ Shandoor is held because of low maintainable and setup game !
Cricket ground require maintainance. Cricket is not played in countries who comes to Pk

I always encourage but I was just warning about the possible outcome. I worked on tons of projects, only couple of them succeeded. It was because I did not had a proper perspective. He is looking for investors, who would raise the same questions. Never experienced it ? Watch any dragon den and you will come to know how people think before investing !

I simply don't understand pakistani mentality.Goraye apne country ki natural beauty ko har haal mai preserve karna chahte hein or karte hein or hum apni natural beauty par apni soch ki chawal mar kar uska beera-garak kar dayete hein..U dont believe me...try viewing picks of murree in early 70-80's and now.it was such a marvelous hill station with lash green forest and everything and now it has become a jungle of multi-story buildings/flats and all the natural beauty has been covered by concrete.
Another example is naran...in early 90's it was a perfect little town surrounded by natural and wild beauty and now it's becoming a collection if concrete boxes slowly covering the landscape.U wanna see the difference,visit naran and then take a tour in PTDC naran.
Y can't v build something which compliments and co-relates with nature, a fine example is PTDC naran,uski kisi bhi hut ki roof tree top say onchi nahi hai...or bhar say deikhne par bhi insan ko buhat sakon milta hai..or uske opps ap naran bazar mai chalaye jaein tou silsala bilqul opps hai.soor,oncha music,hotel walon ki cheeik-o-pukar,logon ki rush.Mai naran in sabhi cheezon say bachne kaye liye hai tou gaya tha,but yahan bhi yehi sab kuch hai tou phir mujhe wahan janaye ka kiya faida??
Have u been to deosai??no doubt it's one of the wonders of the world,gora's from all over the world come to see it's beauty.coz they know the meaning of beauty that's y they don't even drop a plastic wrapper over there just because they don't wanna spoil it's natural beauty and u wanna build a cricket stadium over there.Have u care to even think what will happen to it's natural and wild beauty or should i say how much u'll literally rape it's beauty??and the remaining part in destruction will be played by the 'crowd' who will come to see the match by littering and creating garbage.
And Lastly,Deosai is a national park and any kind of commercial construction is prohibited there.That's why there isn't even a paved road in it and the only man made structure is the pillars of a bridge.So first of all u wont get any kinda permission to construct anything other there and if Allah forbids u somehow did then rest assure I and my other nature loving fellows,will do what ever v can to stop any such idea, by any means necessary.

I dont know Why Many of you just Farting in air without having any knowledge abt the Project.
Shandoor Polo Ground is perfect example of this and building a Two storey Block (similar to Shagreela) and Drawing a Chalk line for boundaries is not going to destroy the beauty.
And I think many of these So called Critics have just seen Cricket Stadium as a Big Bowls and Million of Tonns of Concrete ...LoL

Grow Up Peoples its going to be a 6 Rooms Pavilion with a 20x20 Score Board on Top and a Round Boundaries line with a Pitch in the Middle and Grass for Seating. No World cup is going to be held there but just few matches every year like Polo in Shandoor.

I'll be called a killer weather i kill one man or kill 100 men.So building a 2 story block or 6 rooms or a whole stadium bowl would effect the same.
As for shandoor,polo festival is being celebrated there for centuries and the area was declared national park in 1993. 2ndly,it doesn't have any kind of permanent construction.And i'm sure u know that once an area is declared a national park then any kind of construction is not allowed.

Shandoor doesnot requires lot of maintenece while in cricket it do requires lot of . You cant have an uneven ground which do goes well in case of Polo. Pitch. Remember dangerous pitches
