@hsnmz:
plz go through my earlier post again, i didnt say I am know-it-all. all i said was we muslims know what is allowed and whats not, and where we all get that info from. of course the prime source is the revelations that have been compiled in order and set forth for the guidance of ppl of the whole world, The Holy Qur'an. This is the first thing.
Then we have to follow the path of our beloved holy prophet (PBUH), the things done by him (PBUH), the things forbidden by him (PBUH), the things on which neither he (PBUH) showed consent nor he (PBUH) disallowed. This is Sunnah.
Qur'an and Sunnah are not two separate entities. Its just that we need to have a role model so that we could understand the teachings of Allah and preechings of prophet (PBUH).
Then comes Shariah. though i should write something about it too but instead of complicating things too much, secondly this is one aspect that can become a bone of contention and things could flare up so for the sake of unity of muslims of any race, caste i wont touch up this issue.
BUT the things stated clearly in Holy Qur'an and are proven clearly by Sunnah, so do we need further discussion to justify things.
and yes, u r welcome to contact me any time, u can send me mail throguh PW.
