im talking abt tappet setting.strange to know they have to block air for cng hav installed intake in many cng cars on venturi or cng no otherblocage wht so ever

u need to get tappets checked.fuel filter swaped,transmission oil changed,throttle body cleaned will improve inshaAllah

i have changed its air intake now,previous one was blocked and was in bad condition,now bought in silver colour,brand is "sakura"(made in thailand)
currently there is no blockage,will go for cng setting,hope it works without blockage,currently doing well and giving an average of about 100kms/cylinder
and checked its 0-60 timings and it was about 8 seconds even with 17"rims,weight of cng cylinder,2 woofers etc so i guess its all doing well,will get to its maintenance soon

@wasay: bro, which air intake do u suggest for civic vti prosmatec? the same motor as yours. and how much will it cost? also if in future i convert my car to cng (its currently on petrol), will the air intake continue to give its maximum output as i have read in many places that air intake is useless for a cng car.

well it would perform like the genuine filter does on cng.The good thing will be it has longer life so thts a plus point n u can enjoy better response whn switch back to petrol.

Yet wont advise u to go for cng as hav seen many pros ruining the transmission n inspite of savin it costs higher.

Can get kit in between 4.5k-5.5k

i can give u a bolt on air intake kit,same as wassay's car for 5k it is not useless unless car is properly tuned

But for cng settings its intake is partially blocked so it's providing no gain thats why i m reluctant to install original intake system,its 40000 driven now,do i need major check-up from honda or something?
plus i didnt get,what u meant about valve clearance,did u mean plug gap setting?

unblock the intake n after getting a cia kit u can ask ur mechanic to re tune the idling
