Components can be run without an amplifier but it won't deliver much power to them = low output/quality
Any driver when run off an external amplifiers runs properly and to its full potential, be it a subwoofer or a pair of components.

HU output = 17/18rms
Basic components input = 50rms

Let me know if you intend to buy the Infinity 1262 or JBL 1214 in Lahore, i'll let you know of the guy who has a couple in stock, give my reference and he will give a good price.
Kappa is a good sub as well, but needs proper power, 1250w well are extinct as Yawar mentioned, and the people who have a few won't sell them.

I was looking into the Jbl 1214 as well seems like a good option for the price. Jbl Gt5-12 is another option but i have heard that JBL have a lot of copies in the market. I also got the quote for JL W3V3, Cobalt CO124D, jl 12w3v2. Buddy that'l be a huge help if you give in a good word so i can get nominal price and the real deal!. I can get a pair instead of a single Kappa but i can not put my finger on any of these as i have not heard how they sound, You seem to have more knowledge about this kind of stuff so what would your suggestion be?

P.S i have to get a mono amp as well!
Budget increased to 16-18k(pair/single) for sub and 10k for mono amp(new/used).

for sub grab p1222/1224 would be around 18k best you can get in this budget or else you might find Kappa for the same price in Lahore

I have a 1250W in my car since 2009, i love that sub, for the price it were sold back in the days, was a steal deal. plus the looks of it are KILLA'

I installed a 1214 in a friends car with somewhat same setup as mine, and it was a good subwoofer as well; all these, 1262, jbl 1214 are good subwoofers. I would advise to get any one of these, save up a bit and increase the budget for the mono by 5-6k and get a good mono once and for all.

My primary choice would be to get a single BAD A** sub. For single subs i am thinking of either getting The Kappa Or P1222/1224(still don't know which one is better out of these two p1224 does not have that good of reviews) Is Kappa better or p1222/1224? Secondary choice would be to get two decent subs most probably two 1214's, any thoughts on that?

For amp I am gonna save up some more and get a decent mono, Any suggestions would be helpful.
