Its a okay buy specialy if u like the car, its a 3 year old car, but just 15 days make it a 3 year old, in books should be 2 years some months old.

People are around 7.25-8.25 for 2007-2008 models, Negotiating abit should work out for you, the car should be around 8.25-8.50. Consider Toyota Passo aswell. Other wise Mira is a great buy in these days,

Thanks for your valuable advises folks. Should I expect a reasonable resale of this car if I sale it after lets say 2 years?

Passo is I think 1000 or 1300 cc for which I will defintely need a CNG which I want to avoid. For a 660 cc car giving about 18-22 km per liter, I wont need CNG. Does Toyota have a 660 cc offering?

No Toyota doesn't have any 660 offering car , that's what Daihatsu is for
Negotiate to 850 then its a good deal is it manual or auto
Well in the last dates of December we got a quote buy a person working in ETO for a Suzuki kei of 20k

Its automatic with console gear. Also, if any problems appear in the car will Toyota Indus motors deal with it to provide service? Registration will cost 25k is this confirmed?

An automatic Mira wont give mileage like a manual would
Toyota will provide services like bodywork ,mechanical like changing oils and stuff parts will not be supplied
About registration im not confirmed

Mileage is the biggest reason I am buying this car. Otherwise there is Platz, Vitz, etc. I dont like Vitz by the way as there is no room on the dash board to keep stuff since its all slope up there.

I am expecting 20 kms per liter in this car, is that too much expectation? I only need an automatic car as my dad and wife will use it only.

i dont own a Mira but i can assure the max it would give in city wont be more then 16-18km/L maybe gives 20-22 on highway. But in Karachi City to my knowledge its not possible.

Btw the console gear and Rpm meter cars are less. And if its a Black colored car then its a special package i guess. Im not sure about the name.

16/ liter in city? Will that with AC or without AC? If this is the case, then its not the best option as CNG gives better mileage and I can have a better car for this price of 9 lacs with CNG.

Good suggestion Jahangir... I am also now looking for a good Passo. Although its shape is not attractive, but in comparison its better than Mira.

A manual 1.0L yaris will also give you 17-18 in local and 20-21 on highways. You can get a 06 for around 1 million.

Passo is far better option than mira
my brother bought 06 mira and it gave 12-13km/l in city

i also wanted to buy the same car after few months but after searching Lahore market, i was shocked that mira prices were :
07 ~ 8lac
08 ~ 8.5 lac
so i opted for 07 passo . bought the car while it was on way fm Japan
it is fully optional except smart key. very comfortable ride + spacious

ALHAMDOLLIAH i got it last week.
it has:
alloy rims, dvd, rear wiper, key less, and almost scratchless condition
giving me 13.4km/l ( on dash fuel avg )
acutaly it also depends how one drives the automatic car
i am very gentle with the acclerator so the fuel avg is just perfect.

will get the fuel pump changed, and after that hope to get 14 ~15km/l

@bigb_gr8 congrats for your new car. Why do you want to change the fuel pump of your car? And is it easily available in the market? How much did you buy your 07 Passo for? And in terms of drive is it better than Mira? Obviously the size is bigger but that is one thing. Let us know your feedback. Personally, in terms of shape Mira is better though Passo is not totally ugly... Its also a matter of personal preference.

One edge of Passo of Mira that I now know of is that many of its parts are replaceable with Vitz parts, so at least mechanical parts aren't an issue.

my mechanic told me that by changing the fuel pump will increase the fuel avg to almost 15km/l. ( yesterday filled the tank Rs.2800 ~ 378 kms on speedo) it means costing around Rs.7.40/km i think that is pretty impressive its self

i got it for Rs.8,60000/-

very spacious and comfortable than mira. not to be compared to ANY
1000 ~ 1300 cc car local made. it got more leg room than honda city.
one of my friend who owns a city told me that seat of passo feels like a sofa. and he can easily sit very comfortably in the rear seat . ( he is 6.1")
even rear seats are adjustable to recline almost 2 inch making more comfortable for long drive

parts are not big issue coz the way JDM are comg in PK, parts are being brought by the spare part dealers. Passo has almost the same engine as vitz. so easy to maintain.
