Since the petrol in the tank is moving all the time, the red light is most of the time inaccurate. Even if you park your car at an inclined angle you get different readings.
The best way is to fill a bottle and hook it up to the engine. Definitely the engine will die when the bottle gets empty. Ain't it?
So that's what i was telling you to fill up the tank to where it can take it no more. And of course when you fill again the same way the only difference would be the amount of used fuel.
It's a 2013 corolla xli with no tweaks and tricks-just factory specs.
The idea is to hold your horses all the time. Just give it enough fuel so that i maintains a steady speed i.e. in my case 80 on the highway for the last few years since im almost 50 now and a father of 2.
And im dead sure that if a novice like me gets 25-28 experts would be way ahead.
