I don't want to offend anyone. I don't know which one is better but I definitely have a problem with the ridiculously high prices of both the city and the xli. Even if I had the money, I wouldn't waste 1.2-1.3 million on a locally produced 1300 cc car. It ain't worth it. . The post-budget price reduction was an artificial one with little or no impact on the prices and consequently no relief for the buyers.

o bhai m not suppoting corolla just becoz i own it.. i've also a lancer 1.6 and for me lancer leads both honda n toyota.. kher anyways @ billa something bhai i admit that city has ABS and it brakes wud be definately gud.. but if u r talkin abt the new xli then it doesnt have that bad brakes k rasty mei khota agaya toh brake ni lagay ge, if u have a lil bit knowledge of abs toh it doesnt stop the car quickly, it gives u grip while braking.. yeah i agree it wud stop more quickly than xli but khota achanak aagaya toh believe u me ABS will also not work there so cheers.. ok now let me tell u one thing, city again lacks in the car structure as the old idsi was.. again it has a big pillars which sometimes doesnt allow u to luk at the right side (highly dangerous) is it wot u call a very safe car :-s i dun think so.. @ someone, dun remember his name.. well the bottle size has also given there in the door, obviously when u put something big it wud not bear it.. it is related with something called COMMON SENSE.. if u r talkin about technology then i think rolla is leadin (cruise tronic) makin the guage digitalized, is that wot u call a technology?? lol grow up boy.. i m actually a fan of honda, m defending rolla is JUST because u ppl r just DEGRADING IT.. xli is not that bad option, poor me :+D everyone here is supporting city so i cannot answer each n every person sorry

look of gli better than city. u see on the roads of lahore khi and islamabd there is 6/10 new corolla seen and city is very rear 3/10.u talk about difference of 1 lac, i agree there is more than 1 lac diff b/w gli and city but gli pay its cost by giving comfort and saticfaction to its customer..m not saying city is bad and i suggest low budet people shud go for city coz of price diff. but people who dont have prob shud go for gli coz of many leading features like shape, strong body, road grip and surely drive.

Firstly,after price reduction there is agreat improvement in the sale of city & now it can also be seen much on roads.......though it might take time to reach the level on Rolla's on road cuz initially they were sold like hot cakes........secondly,there is not much difference of Drive & comfort on Gli which makes it 1 lac xpensive.......thirdly,City has stronger body due to G-con technology which reduces the impact of the accident as it absorbs most of the impact itself unlike Gli.......Road grip is also almost the same (though i hav changed the tires on my both cars)

i said before and will say again.......compare city with gli not xli

cuz xli is made for soething different

Gover sector...all xli
Police sector...all xli/gli
rental sector..all xli/gli
northern and village sector all xli/gli

after having these things...dont talk about reliabilty any more....

ppl talk about brakes and stuff .....in any car.....if u follow the speed limit in pakistan u will never come accros brake issues

when we ppl test these sedan cars to limit then they give u issue

affcourse that window issue and lil more r point to be noted when u spending 1.2 million rupees.....
