Xli & CITY.......Comparison

Brothers, please dont disgrace CITY the beauty in all aspect by comparing is with XLI (Khota). Whats there in XLI compareable with CITY. please stop this discussion its CITY all the way and always. Regards

Hi all !!! Nice topic though we dont know yeh topic kahan khatam ho ga Rolla pe ya City pe well i m also confused, whether to go for Rolla or City to me both luk nice. But Rolla`s market is fast, i see in islamabad and pindi lot of rollas on roads as compare to City. New shape of rolla is also good. Old wali se tu jaan chuti woh buhet paindoo thi this 1 is like Camery. But people say Engine wise City is best. Both have their own standards. We wont see City new shape for much years, as their are likely to change its shape in 3 years or so. But i m sure Corolla shape will last much longer may be 5 to 8 years if i m not wrong. So City owners ll think about selling it after arrival of a new shape in market so keep this factor also in mind before buying.

Joyride: City 2009 is the latest shape and will stay around for exact 5 years before the new shape comes.. facelift will be launching after 3 years.. so relax n just buy the new city.. you will not regret it...

OKAY, actually I got my ride on the same day in same color from same outlet this ride kept on display was shinning like anything and I asked them to handover the ride to me but they informed me that this is already invoiced... I got my car and found the radio faulty that was replaced later on by Honda ppl...

Usman, so you went to steal ma car... lolz... anyways congrats on your new ride bro... how is your car going? any upgrades uptil now? i did put on some seat covers and leather carpet to cover the whole carpet beneath the seats and also layed new mats.. I am planning to put 16inch alloy with nice bridgestone tires.. also I have the body kit in mind...

So far no modifications from my side, just enjoying the calm but a bit bumpy ride... I got the foot mats from Honda guyz... planning to have stiched seat covers on the same pattern like original ones... they look beautiful... what I believe is changing the tyres would really help enhancing the driving pleasure but so far I have no plan to change tyres/rims...
I applied SON OF GUN and the interior is very shiny now and looks more attractive than before

Bro almost all of the Pros & Cons of Both cars i.e gli/Xli & city have been discussed......Engine wise city is better.....i have given the reasons...secondly,City is Safer than Gli/Xli cuz Althugh Gli also have ABS but City's body is stronger cuz it has G-con technology which helps in severe Accidents......Resale wise Rolla is better but Resales dun save ur life in an accident......so choice is urs.......many people includin me have shared their xperiences with both the cars.......in case of Xli & City....i would always go for City as Xli doesnot deserve to be compared with city but in case of Gli & City......Gli is a gud Choice......however,City is not bad either......i hope this summery helps u

Usman, you are right bro.. the stock seat covers are better.. yesterday i removed those ones i put on sunday.. the original seat covers are better.. why not enjoy brand new seats for atleast 3 - 4 months before putting new ones on.. definitely we need to change tires.. which size are gonna go for? the ride will be bumpy for the time being.. but with the passage of time n milage.. things will get smoother.. I mashaAllah love my car..

hello people.......today i finally Changed the Rim & tyres of New city........it was a hectic task for me & took after searchin for 4 hours but i got the rims that i wanted :)........tyres r Michellin 185/65/15.......here r the pix

1) Research process(RIMS):

i liked the Black one but it was only available in 5 nuts whereas City has 4

2) then Got confused between these two:

since these were abit old design so left both of them

3) the Rim Changin process

4) Finally got these :)......Alhamdullilah

while searchin i also saw this Beast its 275/30/R19

@abdulkarim:bro frankly speakin my dad dint allow me to go beyond 15s otherwise i would have gone for 16s too....i m happy cuz these r also lukin gud....well since u r also lukin for rims & u also own grey car so i would suggest u to go for black rims as they luk awsum....for tyres i would suggest u michellin as i m runnin my other 3 cars on michellin too and they r givin no problem....i hope this post helps u...best of luck (y)
