yaar ab bongian mat maro.... abhi boats k engines aur generators ki batain bhi start kardo ge... hum to phir dekhte he reh jainge... cars ki baat horahi hai to cars ki he baat karo and those things too that are only being provided in pakistan..

      warna toyota ki line-up ka honda to kya world ki koi company muqabla nai kar sakti...
      Honda civics k he 10 version bana leta hai...

     and for DOHC and SOHC.... 
    HONDA accord is coming with DOHC and CIVIC with SOHC.. means Honda wanted Civic to be more reliable and fuel efficient??? plz think before u say anything...

DOHC stands for Double Overhead Camshaft. Now there are 2 camshafts per header. So in an inline there are 2 camshafts because there is only one header, but there is 4 in a V-type or flat engine. These DOHC engines usually have 4 valves. One camshaft for the exhaust valves and the other for the intake valves. DOHC engines cost more for repairs. To ensure against expensive engine repairs, make sure you change your engine's timing belt about every 60,000 miles.

Advantages to having a DOHC engine over a SOHC is that the engine has twice as many intake and exhaust valves as a SOHC motor. no matter how that Asimo is technologically advanced, i know one thing.. honda maybe have produced technlogical marvels but they are just NOT reliable & practical. lets count how many diesels honda have rolled out so far, not to mention toyota's hilux, lc, prado, surf, cygnus etc etc etc.. the honda diesel ictdi or their other eye wee tech engines maybe good for racers for a few thousands km but after that they are DEAD and out of picture and they CANNOT last for decades, even honda lovers know it

Your post really made me laugh... Do you really think Diesel engines are better than petrol? common think once again... Honda did not spend its time producing Diesel engines because it was busy working on Hybrid technology that will keep our environment clean..Accord engine was produced for the American market as they wanted to really see if Honda can produce diesel.. But now if you look at the market, everyone is after hybrid technology...

Its only in pakistan that we really love to buy Diesel engines because Diesel use to be cheap but not any longer... Majority of 4x4's used in the world are petrol engines.. its only for the asian market that diesel was launched by Corolla, the reason was as stated above, diesel was then cheap.. but now majority of people are shifting back to petrol engines as there is no much difference.. lolzzzz... Corolla makes people jump here and there while honda sticks to one technology and works harder on it to make it safe and reliable... my brother, ask any one on this forum, even a 20 years old Honda engine will not make a noise as a new corolla engine does..

I wish you can sit in the new city, start the car and hear the engine sound on idle, it feels as if the car is not start... What ever you say cannot be justified because you dont write on logical bases..

Umar I think you are the man putting some bongian around: Read your own post and then sit back and think what you wrote.. It makes no sense at all at all... DOHC engines are expensive when it comes to repair and maintenance.. SOHC engines are cheap because they hardly wear n tear and are good for within the city overdrive....coming to Accrod engine: it comes with DOHC and SOHC engines..depending on what you want..have you checked the F22B2 Accrod engine.. its SOHC while F22B1 is DOHC... IF you drive your car alot in the city, then go for SOHC and if you drive your car on long drives and wish to have more high end torque then go for DOHC which will be expensive and wear n tear is faster than SOHC.. study well before commenting mere bhai..

Yar i think I will have to tell you everything in simple ABC form... Baby feed you: SOHC Engines has better low-end power i.e. 3000 to 5000 RPM..DOHC has better heigh end power i.e. 4000 to 7000 RPM.. However, the cost implications of DOHC engines are higher than SOHC.. after this I just hope you will understand what SOHC and DOHC means... ya abhi yahi kaho gey k abdul ne apni kaam ki baat ki aur dusri nahi... Corolla users always creat Rolla :P:P:P

DOHC engines are expensive when it comes to repair and maintenance.. SOHC engines are cheap because they hardly wear n tear and are good for within the city overdrive....coming to Accrod engine: it comes with DOHC and SOHC engines..depending on what you want..have you checked the F22B2 Accrod engine.. its SOHC while F22B1 is DOHC... IF you drive your car alot in the city, then go for SOHC and if you drive your car on long drives and wish to have more high end torque then go for DOHC which will be expensive and wear n tear is faster than SOHC.. study well before commenting mere bhai..

   writing engine codes wont prove that u r more literate... and what do u say abt that cutting part???

Toyota already has made V8 engine and also V12 in Toyota Century and successful V8(s) in Lexus LS, GS, LX, IS F, Land Cruiser, Tundra etc

Honda is still developing V8(s). So sad
