Its the pointless, baseless comments of the toyota fans (with a few exceptions such as Mani1) that make every thread fun. For example someone here said City is underpowered... Lol now either he is living in the past or he hasnt even had a ride in the new City
One other stupid post said city is lighter cuz its a teen dabba... I mean how can we come up with such BS? So let the toyota fans do their job and keep us entertained

dude my suggestion is to buy a city as city have i vtec engine and is company equiped with irridium spark plugs and much more ... in simple words interior might be the good of xli 09 but all other things are good of city 09 just buy it and fell the power u have never know!

I agree on city faster point but its only a 1 or 1.5 seconds difference and i can say after driving both cars at highspeeds that after 100 km /h corolla is as fast as city above 100km/h.CIty can do 0-100 in min 11.7 seconds while corolla gli does in 13seconds so difference is not so much.

Yeah xli/gli does it in near 13sec, i did it too back in 2009 when it was launched. havent tried new city 0-100km/h but its certainly much faster.1-1.5 sec is a BIG difference but yes, it doesnt matter cuz they are small passenger cars, no one (not me atleast) wud buy a passenger car just because it does 100 1sec earlier then its competitor. thats why im happy with my idsi.
but hey, city ivtec is NOT slow even after 10km.h, so far i ve done 180km/h on it and it reached there very quickly...

Me doing 0-100 in xli (did it in 14sec cuz of extremely bad launch bcuz it rained, means it can do it in atleast 1sec lesser time)

here, doing 180 on m2.can u hear ANY noise? even with that pathetic cell fone camera recorder, there was no noise at all.and thats done with 3 passengers.

also dont forget that city is lighter coz it is teen wala dabba that crumbles and implodes everytime a cd70 goes past it at 40km/h. but that is supposed to be some high tech technology shhhh.... before honda fan boys come and give their arm and leg trying to delude themselves into thinking that city's weak body is good coz it aborts impacts like a pepsi can

There are some btw, @autophile , @rozzz, @internal_auditor etc are some ppl who do understand the difference in two and they have enough technical knowledge to know why a car body is made to crumple, but unfortunately, some stupid ppl who dont know **** about cars have brought disrespect to them (bcuz they dont wanna be called corolla fans now) thats why they ve stopped posting)
