^^ the meter is correct. A proper rxz will cross its 12,000 rpm mark. there are two meters of the rxz (12k & 14k rpm)

i need to include few words in it, the meter you have is actually the stock meter of RXZ, 5SPEED,18.5HP, (2UX,1987 model) MADE IN JAPAN(FIRST MODEL)
&
The engine you have is RXZ, 6SPEED,22HP,(i dont know the engine series of ur engine but it can be(5pv1, or 5pv2. 2002 model)
so thats is one of the major reason of indicating the rpm needle 12+.....

@kamran dont worry if u feel original sound as sore, but thats the original sound of rx and i tell u on low rpm the sound would be sore and on high rev that will be sweet, as whistle

no need to confirm by ur mechanic just check it the serial # embossed on engine plate, just beside the clutch worm

Looks like Me, You dont like this pthak pthak, get it extended from a local welding wala with exact dia and length with the same line up of holes in it, the Awaz thing will reduce.

but i like my "phatak phatak" sound... its kinda fun when ur pulling her and the ppl hear the sound and turn back to see whats coming... heheheh. to me i get all happy when that happens... give me that bad boy look u know... hehehe lol

nowadays i am intended to install a baffale for recently bought exhuast of RZR...
but i am quite sure even the thai made will be impossible to locate......anyway i have got a baffle of rx115 which looks like hand made but its in good touch, so in coming days i will properly measure the length and demand of that chamber and then will have the phatak phatak sound;)
