GD 110 is a beautiful bike i sold out my YBZ and bought YBR now m again planing to change bike my frnd recently bought GS110-S i will take that bike for a test drive on weekend. sofar i had driven GD for few kilometers and i loved the quality and smooth drive of GD. GD got 112CC engine but the shape and look of GD is very tiny like 70CC bike. m not fully satisfied with YBZ but i took my YBZ to Murree 2 times performence was good but the quality of some parts is way lighter then GD.
clutch cable issue is reported by 2 members here and it indicates some quality issues. and i highly doubt that the life of clutch plates will be very less as compare to other bikes like suzuki and Atlas. its my perception about YBZ but i have seen 2 YBRs with clutch plates issue they were very less driven.

plz help someone, mei nai bike lena chahta hoon fill haal mein dyl70 chala rha hon jo k bohut thuka deney wali bike hia, lekin fuel average or maintenance ka kharcha bouhut kum hia, comfort k lehaaz say prider, ybz is forum pay bohut popular hian, lekin fuel/maintenance kay mamlay mien kon c bike fit hia?
or kia ybz/prider ko sirf 40,50, 60 ki speed mien chala kar 70cc jesi fuel average haasil ki ja sakti hia? ya evien gullan bunian nay

Pridor se 70cc waali average li ja sakti hai par sirf economy speed par joke 40-55km/h tak samajh le aap. Highway par abhi dono ki average mein koi khas faraq nahein aaega mera experience hai cd70 ke saath highway aap 70 ko 50 par toh nahein chalaaenge toh highway par 70 chota engine honi ke wajah se struggle karta hai average 46km/h tak h aati hai. Pridor aapko highway pe 70km/h speed pe wohi average degi par comfort kaafi behtar 70cc se. Han agar aap us se oopsr full throttle pe chalaaye toh average 42km/h tak aaegi

so true sir. but you know we have to compromise and trade off between available options. i saw both yb 125z and gd 110s. the much hyped best quality of suzuki was drowned when i looked closely. the alloy rims finishing didnt impress me and over all look which matters alot was so comoromised that i thought a new pridor would look more grandeur. the build quality of engine seemed great. belive me i left with pure intention to buy gd 110s but couldnt made up my mind. yb 125 z (btw i bought one yesterday 29.03.2018) is i guess best option and we have to settle with faulty clutch (allah shaitan ke kaan doray karay) and erratic engine noise.

ok guys so here i am and after much of delibrations i have purchased this beast(i dont no why , i had a pridor and it was awesom ). please tell whether the tappet sound that is coming off from engine will go off or i will have to adjust for it.

Aur cultch ki sahi setting bilkul aage hoti hai 20mm free play hona chahiye jo peeche rakhte hai unki h bike ko nuksan hota hai aur shifting ka issue bhi

Congrats good you purchased what seemed best to you. Dont worry about engine noise rather make your mind ready for it and ignore it. This tik tik valve noise is louder noticeable yamaha engine and its not an issue this engine is like this if you get the valves tightened which any idiot mechanic would obviously do it will damage valves and poor performance of engine.

Yr main aik sal se ye bike use kar raha hn.... lekin mera meter gar bar kar raha hai. gear wala indicator se numbers ka abha hisa ghayab ho gaya hai ..

@muskateer that rear carrier you must have bought separately or came installed in bike.

other wise machine looks good. but this sound is annoying. i hope it wont bother me chronically. yb 125 z is better (the best is yet to hit mkt) option quality , price wise... without taking drive into consideration and looking superficialy it looks more solid then suzuki. suzuki's engine alone looks great but rest it is an ordinary looking machine.

yes sir seperatly at cost. i had prior planned to change tyres , and install safety guard and this carrier. the guard was not avb at the time with showroom and as per some last moment suggestion i dropped the idea of changing tyre (i was going for 90×90×18 panther treker). will intall guard soon in shaa allah

hmmm. seems not good. if yamaha failed to address these tiny issues i guess this machine would be left restricted to only this group memebers . yamaha i think is coming with same metality as AHL " bus kuch bana ker thop do yeah awam quality per kia kerti hai yeah tou phir bhe lain gay" (on a lighter note).

actually i sold my YBZ because of this noise first i tried hard to remove these noises by switching oils adjusting tapets and timing adjuster etc the best solution i did was the use of SG grade oil from PSO or Shell. these oils demp the noise very well. now i am again searching for YBZ as this is the best available option right now.

Yup problem is yamaha is selling very less number of bikes so complains of low quality matter more serious. They are here to compete with very strong competitor morr specially the mindset of people. Yamaha has to be very careful about quality and user demans complains.

I would recommend change tire panther trekker would give better braking grip.

@awaiz43 This is positive you again considering about ybz and there is no doubt its very good bike available in this price.

Hopefully Yamaha improves quality of cultch cable & meter. The issues so far raised and i think users should raise demand for panther trekker tyre at rear stock in ybz.

i have raised all importnt issues regarding quality of tyres and meter etc etc in ybz with yamaha japan officials in a meeting with them. and i tell u i hosted them for a day that was an awsm experience. but so far nothing is changed by the Ymaha officials. infact Pakistani officials are very careless in this regard but Japanees were showing so much intrest to adress the complains. ATLAS is the big giant here current policy of ATLAS for venders is going to hurt yamaha very bady. ATLAS is now providing working place to there venders in there factory area. YAMAHA is still unable to find venders in Pakistan

sales figures of YAMAHA in 2017 are very disappointed. and its a bad news for all of us Pakistani aawaam is not excepting the change yamaha products are way ahead in quality as compare to others but our minds are still stuck to Cg and 70.
i think a clasic style bike like yamaha custom would steal the market share paksitanis still like the clasic shape bike with matel fenders and clasic looks.
