I went to this guy (university autos) at first but he was not responsive, i mean i asked several questions about the bike performance, which one to buy, either ybr or ybz but he was just says all is right, all is right.
i was not satisfied there and went to saddar at Al Haram traders, got discount on price as well.

Well I had already done my homework before visiting the showroom so I knew which one is better in terms of performance. But, it's good you got a discount there

lackness of good yamaha mechanics is evident in whole country.

Well you can follow the suggestions given by showroom guy. Early oil change is always been effective for engines running through breakin period.

any plan to try AX-5 20W 40?

Brother. Yes, I must will try 10w-40 or 20w-40 by SHELL in api SL means AX5 but these days I am not driving bike much. I have driven only 500km so far since my last oil change was Yamalube. Khurram said that next oil change should be done after 2000km which is not going to complete ever. I am more influenced by SHELL lubricants instead of ZIC, Total or Liquimoly. SHELL AX3 was a very successful attempt but only error I found in that oil, it dumps the sound a lot and I am pretty hopeful that AX 5 api SL will not make this engine sound dump much like AX3.

Yes you can change 1st oil after 350 KM and then first tunning after 1000km but dont tuch carb before 6000 kms and tappet before 3000 Kms.
Dont listen any ADVISER.....
You will really enjoy this bike performance IN SHA ALLAH .

Never ever touch your bike carburetor in life from any mechanic because these butterfly carbs are adjusted in factory in special environment if some one disturbed its setting you will never ever get maximum fuel average+satisfaction from your bike

Last saturday i tunned my bike from iqra auto rwp.
They did good job. They tunned it and just set tappet and nothing else.

Iqra autos is better then others in rawalpindi no doubt in it. Or aapis ki bat hy tapet b sirf check krty hyn yeh adjust kam hi krty hyn.

Hami bhai thora zyada nahi ho gya yeh? Never ever...just joking bilkul yar carburator ko na cherna or waise b yamaha k mechenic b carb setting ko nahi cherty pr phir b special bol dea kro. Waise maine setting chere the pr uska faida yeh hoa k now I can tune my bike by my self getting 45+ fuel avrg in local drive. top speed of 120 on pillion pr dosra bnda single pasli tha sath. Pr waqai mushkil kam hy perfect setting talash krna. So better avoid messing with carb.

Only oil is replaced with new one Yamalube 20w-50, after oil change bike is more smooth and responsive.
he said at 1000 Km 1st service will be done.
my bike reading is 700 Km today.

That's nice to know. I'm eagerly waiting to get my registration number before hitting the roads.
