I spent a complete day by reading out this thread from beginning just trying to figure out what is the best oil for my YBR 125 G ..... but of no use. Anywayz I changed first oil on 300 approx KMs and now the bike is driven above 1,300 (Yamalube) which means almost 1,000 KMs since the last oil change. Yes these days I sometimes feel a cold start issue as well as clutch slippage. So what do you guys suggest?

I use Choke of the bike to start it in the morning for at least 1 minute. Initially i face the same problem but this is the best solution i found on the youtube.

So I observed today that there's a little sound being produced by the engine, like ooooOO and it increases with the throttle. Is this normal? The odometer reading as of today is 146 kms.

There's no problem with the starting and running the engine. Its just a little noise that I'm concerned about.

Morning start is bad and it doesn't get start without choke.

Ibad,
There is nothing to worry about b/c these sounds are normal
when the bike engine is new its piston moves inside the engine block and produce friction
which makes noise, these engine noise are reduce (at certain extent) by oil we pour in our bikes.
Your engine will improve with the passage of time and when meter reading crosses 1500 odometer.
and please follow the comment # 1667 by Awaiz for riding new bike.

Thank you so much brother for your valuable input. I'll be changing the first engine oil on 350km (this weekend) and hopefully it should start getting better.

One more thing I want to ask, can I use high-octane instead of regular gasoline without any problem?

You can use Hi Octane if you have more money... just kidding
Hi Octane is premium product and obviously much more refined than normal Gasoline but it will give you less benefit in terms of performance and charge you more in terms of Value.
For economical solution us must use Mixture or Blend of these two Gasoline Product in equal quantity and check the results.
I never ever used Hi Octane in any of my engine whether its a Car or Motorcycle.

I have plans to use the mixture of both and see if it has some benefits.

I am using Hi-Octane in my Civic and getting some good results. The mileage has increased, so is the throttle response and pick of the car

Sound of YBZ is very decent but not awkward like CG 125.
You can judge the sound if you can hear both sounds alternately and remember its a choice of personal taste
Some might found ybz louder than cg125, some may not.

The sound of YBZ is actually quite good. Jb b me gali se guzarta hu to log mur k zaror dekhty hain to see the bike it feels great...
