Above screen shot shared is YBR manual and both YBR, YBZ carries same engine. Anyway, I am not imposing anyone to use API SG but as i tried different engine oils as well as different grades, I found YBZ engine producing less noise as well as less vibration with API SG only while in API SL the first problem we start facing is hard gear shift which cannot be compromised.

Yes that's the point. At the end of the day, we all need performance which truly comes out by giving its engine API SG. In higher grades ZINC and Phosphorus are reduced and lack of this ZDDP isn't good for YBZ engine.

Thanks for the prompt response and posting the screenshot. I need to get my first tuning done tomorrow, lets see how the bike performs afterwards. I went outside yesterday to purchase the KIXX ULTRA 4T 20W-50 which is a semi-synthetic oil but wasn't able to find it. Will be going out today as well to see if I can find one.

Yesterday, I took the bike to 100 kmh for the first time, the bike was pretty smooth at that speed and I didn't realize it was 100 until I saw the meter. But, suddenly a blue YBR came from behind and overtook me at that speed, I had still a lot of throttle left in my bike as I was just under 7K RPM but I did not rev it more as it was just first time

So, last night my brother bought a new Road Prince Wego 150 the bike looks beautiful, will be sharing the pics and the riding experience soon and the comparison also between these two

Always welcome. I was also convinced for KIXX engine oil just because of the way Haris is requesting people to try it once but when i think of the manual and also think of counter feting, I guess that SHELL engine oil is a better choice as it is easily available around whole country and secondly no counter feting in it. Anyway, good luck for you with KIXX and someday i will also try that engine oil.

For fuel screw, I tighten it up further and now it is near 2 turns or might be bit less than 2 turns and my bike is giving me fuel average of 50 plus. One thing i learned during this practice that always turn the screw by 1/8 step instead of turning it 1/4 or 1/2.

Waqas, this is common in YB125Z and it is mostly because of the pathetic engine oil by Yamaha Yamalube. You can try Shell AX3 or Kixx 4T Ultra as we were discussing the same topic few posts earlier.

Further to my experience with SHELL AX 3, gear shifting is butter smooth and no more clutch slipping at all not even a single time. Also, I noticed that there is no chain noise which usually was very prominent before with YAMALUBE.

Yamaha bike gets heat up due to balance of petrol+air supplied by its carburetor and you don't need to ask any mechanic to resolve this issue as he definitely will mess with its carb and increase the fuel supply which can make your fuel average worst.

It is much better to use API SG oil to cope with the heat and keep engine less noisy. You even can get this in PSO engine oil too as i checked last night and PSO 1 litre bottle price is 390/-PKR.

Finally I was able to get Kixx 4T ultra 20w50. Poured it this evening after getting the first tuning done today and just came back after riding 12 kms. Now here's what I have observed:

The gear shifting has improved alot. The problem with making it Neutral, seems resolved now. The engine noise has reduced a bit as well. Overall, the ride is pretty smooth now.

Only tappets were adjusted and air filter was cleaned in the first tuning. The bike is reaching 90 kmh in 6K RPM easily.

congrats on getting the better oil for your bike. Further, we should not compare YB 125z with wego as it has 150cc engine while YB 125z is the best one in 125 cc segment as per its comfort and fuel average. Wego 150cc isn't that much comfortable and also its price 1.80 is very high. If i compare the engines in 150cc segment then Suzuki GR 150 carries the best engine specs as it has higher torque at lower RPM but again Suzuki price is high too but i believe that it's much better choice than wego if someone need to spend around 2 hundred thousand on a bike then he must should go for Suzuki instead of wego.

Well you're somewhat correct. These are two different category bikes and there's no comparison really, but phr b ik comparison dono ki performance pe to bnta hai I just came back having ridden the Wego150 for about 15 kms. Being 150 it hits 0-60 a bit quicker than YBZ which is an obvious thing, but apart from that the seat is much softer than YBZ but it's not wide enough and I got abit tired after riding. The suspension is as good as YBZ, road grip is a bit better in Wego because of its weight. The gear shifting is hard and it gets stuck sometimes while shifting, which I hope will be fine with time. The headlight is good, dipper is there, engine kill switch, digital speedometer, alloy rims, disc brake provide good experience. One thing I noticed, the drum brake at front in YBZ is really superb and close to a disc brake in Wego, obviously disc is more powerful but YBZ is not far behind.

I saw a YBZ in a showroom today which had alloys and disc installed, the guy at the showroom told me it was installed for 18,000 rupees on a customer's demand. Dipper and remote start system was also installed in that bike.

Wow , that's amazing. I will also shift my bike to alloys soon as I am not satisfied with its front wheel.

Wego engine is far behind as compare to Suzuki GR 150. I wish you get a chance to ride that bike too and the punch you will get on GR 150, Wego cannot produce that ever. Also GR 150 wheel base is 1310mm which is going to make it much much comfortable bike ever in Pakistan. I doubt that it will beat YBZ too in comfort. I will surely visit Suzuki dealership soon for its test ride and only then i can assume that how much Suzuki is over charging.

Yeah Wego engine cannot beat GR150 that's for sure. I will also visit the dealership once that bike hits the market.

Yes that's the point if Wego cannot beat GR 150 then why someone is wasting 1.80 on such uncomfortable bike. Better to go with all the way with GR 150 or should live on YBZ with affordable budget lekin shoq ka koi moul nahi. If one can spend two hundred thousand then only GR 150 is the bike in 150cc segment,

Well it was also a surprise for me when my brother called me to check his new bike, he had 2,3 choices including GS150, Wego150 and Keeway. But he chose Wego because of its advanced looks and features.
