Today at 970 odo reading. followings were done:
1. first engine oil change - yamalube 20w50. neither oil was very thin nor anything abnormal was observed
2. air filter element: cleaned
3. free play adjustment of clutch and rear brake
4. battery level checkup which was fine
5. nut bolts tightening wherever necessary
6. chain tightening/adjustment - don't exactly know what did he do with it
i traveled around 30km to yamaha service center for these things done.
observations:
1. while reached back home i felt bike had consumed more fuel (knob more closer to mid position while i refilled petrol today before going to service) as compared to break-in period (55 avg).
2. bike struggled to reach same speed at 7k rpm as compared to break-in period
3. idling speed which was around first tick after 1000 rpm (1300 precisely) dropped to 1000 rpm or just hovering a bit higher but not touching that 1st tick (1300 rpm)
4. bike took more time to start by switch as compared break-in period (which i assume as fresh relatively thick oil is reason as compared to gradually thinned oil from break-in period)
what have i done so far after there observations:
1. called mechanic/ustad and brought into his notice "carburetor ko to hath b nai lagaya. just oil change or yeh oper wali ishtory, phir bhi aisy performance drop q" - he said drive it for 1 or 2 days if persists visit me again.
tried to explain the whole scenario. please advise/suggest. though as it's just first day with service i am looking forward holding on my doubts for at least one or two days.
P.S. before going for service i drove bike early morning at 7500 rpm and touched 105 km/h.
