Yamaha YBR G not crossing 90 km/h

Same issue here. Bike not crossing 90/hr exactly 90.
I am going to change right now cylinder with piston installation of 150suzuki. Will let you know with the results.

I met 4 bike owners, they all are getting top speed 90 and average 35 petrol. Nothing to worry! In company docs, top speed is 95.

are you sure that pin came out in front of you and dropped in the dirty oil container? there might be a possibility that pin was already in the container. sometimes we partially hallucinate. i also use all genuine stuff. so, cheer up! i also have ybr.g and it only went upto 98kmph, but i m nt worried at all. neither i faced any problem nor i got worried of y its not crossing 100! in fact, its gud fr me, otherwise i wud hv crossed 100 and cud hv ended up in hospital due to racing/accident. bike ko bike ki tarah chalao bhai, or ziada sochna sehat k liay hanii kaarak hy

90+ is no where safe for a consumer graded bike. The safest is to keep at 60 or below even if you are on highway. God forbid at high speed if you hit a deep pothole you would not only damage your bike rims but could also fall and hurt yourself badly.

i purchased YBR-G around 3 days back from someone who had driven 2200 km where he even didn't changed the oil as well.
bike ghar latey hi sab sey pehley to mein ney oil change kiya (ZIC 10w 40 - 1 litter black color bottle) lekin rastey mein sirf ek hi issue aa raha tha key jab bhi mein 80 ki speed cross karta toh bike missing karna shuruu kar deti aur 100 ki speed sey upper nahi jati to mein ney iska filter box open kiya aur filter box mein left side per jahan sey air intake ho raha hota hai jiss rubber pipe hole sey jokey dou surakh wala hai, ussko nikal diya takey filter mein air khul kar aa sakey aur missing ka masla khatam ho gaya aur saath hi rpm bhi pehley sey fast uth raha hai aur speed 105 kmp/h.

Umeed karta hon k agar kissi ko bhi meri tarah missing ki problem ho toh jaisey mein ney kiya, ussi tareekey sey aapki bhi problem solve ho jaye.

ybr125g's average velocity is 100km/h but max velocity is 120km/h which isn't easy to achieve and i must say close to impossible...
yeap!!! no lies...
just bear in mind that driving 'cg125/yb100' and ybr125g is not the same... my advise be a bit gentle with the throttle...
it's quiet much like riding a horse, try to understand your ride. take it more like your pet than a ride.

I reached 100 km/h easily on ybz. Did it only once because i care about my life.

I am 110 kg and if i had leaned forward in racing style, used high octane mixture, used irridium plugs, i would have taken it to 115+ km/h.

That Honda cg 125 (vibrator) is lighter in weight than ybr/ybz plus slightly thinner tires are installed in that. Additionally 4 gears are the reason vibrator could go upto 120.

But who cares. Speed is not everything.

90 is too low and abnormal.
I am suspecting mechanics have messed up its tappets setting. Get tappets adjusted according to the figures given in owner's manual.
Set spark plug gap to 0.65 mm.
Clean its air filter
Spray carb cleaner inside carburetor. That would clean carbon and other debris.
And also change the petrol pump. Most pumps are selling pathetic quality fuel here.

Your air fuel mixture needs to be adjusted and you are good to go then

i have the same problem with my Ybz it acceleration in first 3 gare is good but it decreases as soon i shift to 4 and 5 gare it barely cross 90to95

When did you start notice that it is not crossing 90-95km ?

1:-Hy brother please follow these steps I'm sure you will got your results first use the Yahamalube engine oil it's best for the engine and for once use high octan only for few days and there is an air draft inside it on the right side (tapa) remove it and you will find it moving better
OR
Chnge the spark plug and front grari of chain with 17 faced insted of 15 (but change engine oil)and if you wont even better results change the exhaust(silencer )

Hello everyone.
I have bought YBR G 3 weeks ago. My first tank fill to first reserve I got 55 kmpl while driving just close or below 6000 rpm. After 500 km I touched 100-105 kmph around 7500 rpm. Overall I have been varying the speed in range, no sustained speed. After reading views above it seems that performance I got is normal.

If anything was noticeable it was a humming low volume periodic noise on 4th gear above 4000 rpm which faded away with 5th gear.

I have not changed oil yet it's 650 odo reading. Other than bike I have JDM ALTO 2015 and I have been using 0W20 for one and half year now and performance of my car is still good. Having hands on experience of low viscosity fully synthetic oil 10w40 is what I am considering to go for at 1000 km (I am all ears for suggestions as well, please)

These are my concerns:
1. If my bike is just running fine, I think all I need in routine maintenance is oil change and normal checkup of nut bolts and filter. No need to go for even checkup of carboraoter. What do you say?
2. With hands on experience of fully synthetic oil and winter just ahead I am considering 10W40 either Mobil 1 or liqui moly whichever I could get. Do you endorse it? Any suggestion, please share.
P.S. even I am considering to change oil myself.
