Nice bike engine is very powerfull and i will calculate fuel avg after the end of fuel tank.

^^ ANd you will get a totally wrong fuel averege in that way This is bcoz when ur bike is new, its carburator is set on high fuel seting so that ur engine remains lubricated by the un-burnt petrol. As engine at this time is totally new and used for the first time!! At this time i bet u will only get 35-40 Km/Ltr

But at ur first free tuning, they will re-tune ur carb and then it should give u an average of 55Km/ltr atleast.

Recomendaton: get Look(compund) in ur mudgaurds and rims done from some mechanic.. It would prolong the life of chrome quality and would prevent from rust.

Ill be getting my rims compunded too Inshallah in a few days..

At how much Kms did you change it?
My dealer said i should change it at 300Kms, but the yamaha book says 1st oil change at 500Kms? Wht i have thought is na book ki na dealer ki.. ill change it at 400 Kms

And how much did you pay 4 COmpound work?

I changed after 300 Kms and compound work (samad bond :P) and a few more works cost me Rs 200

Damn right bro, during the Run-In period this specific bike gives an average of 38 KM/Liter and after the 1st tune up it goes upto 45-50KM/Liter....

^^ Yes, My bike is in running process, drove it 70Kms so far.. Will tell you the un-tunned average when my Tank gets empty.

my junoon gave an average of 55km/l right from the beginning.can any one please elaborate on this compound stuff and who do this i mean denter or some1 else?

I calculated the average before 1st tuning and it is 49.5 Km/liter still 530 km done

^^ Hmm... and i cant say anything as yet, the fuel gauge in the speedo meter is just an approximation, its not very accurate bcoz in bike as u tilt it, petrol level rises in the tank to 1 side and so does ur fuel needle...

But i think its going to give me the same average as you have told! 150Kms driven so far...

As running-in is needed for new Motorcycle, some changes Oil After first 100-150kms run as this first ~100kms contains most of the tiny chipped off metal particles.

You don't need compound for Junoon mud guard because they are of plastics.

I got an average of 48KM/L without any tuning of the bike.......It is 1648 in the Odometer now still not tuned but giving the same average maybe it would increase after tune up
