I said leg space, means space between both seats, being wider have nothing to do with that. And yes it was congested for me, may be other feel different, It was even congested than WagonR.

Leg space is generally proportional to wheelbase. Corolla has wheelbase of 2700mm, and Yaris has 2550mm wheelbase. Hence the difference in leg space.

Anyhow, Yaris is just a Vitz with a boot actually, the successor of Belta and Platz.

Both are just piece of metal. Infact our industry has been pounded with corolla /civic/city and yaris now.We consider them class A vehicles unfortunately.

Read my posts, i have been saying that both are different segment cars, buy what you need and can afford.

I my self have a corolla which i have retained for family use and yaris as a daily runner... no doubt Yaris is equally comfortable and a very nice car. No doubt corolla is bigger.

The question was new yaris or old corolla, on my experience i said new yaris over old corolla, any day eyes closed. Haseeb sahab is just dragging conversation to a level of unreasonableness, i honesty fail to understand his behavior.

Well most of the people suggesting are mostly just suggesting based on their own preferences, while I would suggest you to buy a car out of your own requirements. I have owned both cars and will try to give you an honest suggestion. Yaris and Grande are almost equally comfortable for the driver, if you regularly travel with five people on board, grande provides more space, with four people onboard grande has no specific space advantage. I agree to some extent. If i would have had the budget. I would have gone for grande or 1.8 cruisetronic.

In my opinion go for Grande as its more spacious and you get better pick and the shape is far better then yaris . You also get Projector headlights which is a big plus point if you mostly travel at night and the issue i faced while driving yaris was when you go over speed breaker sometimes you hear a DUNG sound which is so annoying. As both have a monogram of TOYOTA resale is amazing. but if you want a hassle free experience and warranty go for yaris but if someone you know how take great car of there Grande and is selling it go for that.

agreed ! in 2015 my friend bought a corolla 12 model which was driven around 33 or 44 K for about 12 or 13 lacs and in October 19 he sold that car to carfirst for about 14 lacs. the car was driven 130K with back bumper painted only

when your friend bought it for 12 or 13 lack, new was worth 19 lackhs
when your sold it, by the end of the same year new was around 24 lackhs

had he bought a new car, he would have added three or four lackhs in his pocket... I invested in Altos last year, booked at 13 lackh last year in august, recieved in october and sold them in december between 17.50 and 18... new car not only increases its worth with the official price hikes, but also due to market demand.

when a new car goes up 10 lackhs, one or two year old cars go up along with it... three to five years old go up half as much... DO THE MATHS... Don't mislead people...

new car is the best deal, bas chinese ko na lou, like pearl, bravo, alsvin waghera.. baki jo bhi gari new lou gay, faieda dey gi...

now people have more options... Corolla is not as much a hot cake now... you are still 11 years behind time, kindly update your self, back in 2008 there were only two or three sedans around, now times have changed....
