Yes I went through all the pages and I am really impressed with your passion and love for Steermatic. Its truly was/is a gem. If they relaunch something on similar lines in 5th gen City; I might sell my Civic and go after it. Something with 1.5L iVTEC; if not CVT; then paddle shift gearbox?

This is what I was thinking that something authentic like Steermatic's hood insulation, instead of making something from ground...that can be use it somehow with Civic. The naked hood of Civic is yukkk :-!

thanks for the compliment yes indeed steermatic is fun to drive in its category I wish honda relaunch this kind of technology, but you know if you scroll back the history of steermatic it was badly abused by us and finally honda forced to stop its production in Pakistan it only came for 1 year 2006-2007. Infect they put promotion on her last dying days by reducing price & some free fuel and that was first time in pakistan that these kind of promotions given on some car bcaz we dont understand her,anyway now people are recognizing but cant be sure if honda hold there balls to relaunch this kind of technology again in pakistan as fuel prices are increasing and we are more towards CNG which reduce the true pleasure

@ Amir Bhai, the existing shape City comes in 1.5L trim in many countries inc. Malaysia and India. It features a conventional 5 speed auto with paddles unlike rocker buttons on the steermatic.

Only Honda Atlas needs to drop this engine in the bay, change the interior to beige, chrome the door handles and add those beautiful alloys that they have shown on honda.com.pk. 1.5L i-vtec engine produces 120 hp. That's 10 more than steermatic.

The point I'm try to make regarding steermatic is that, when they launch it 2006-2007 it was sudden boost in technology like CVT, dual transmission , 7-speed mode & cosmetic like 5 alloys & BS-potenza that time it was not digested by pakistani buyers & than may be honda thought that keep them(pakistanies) on basics , I'm pretty sure If steermatic kick's in 2006-2007 than surely today we have civic or city with something like paddle shift or dual transmission.
