both have different engines
civic exi has d15 non vtec produces 110hp while steermatic uses L15a vtec and it also produces 110hp.
civic vti is vtec which produces 127hp

Brother it depends on person , due to civics low ground clearence it feels good to drive , handles good , on the other hand in steermatic u get best of both worlds manual and automatic , steermatic weighs less then exi pros and its 7speed gearbox is more responsive then exi`s prosmatic.

Its amazing how the CVT keeps increasing speed at almost same RPM value. I drove it once on manual setting n its so sad when the gear changes automatically if kept at high rpm for long :(

@stunner in manual mode she has sensor which shifts gear automatically after giving max acceleration to avoid RPM lock in red zone or excessive load on engine

I've tried lot of time and always get a best timing in """ D """ mode.
