i also replaced timing belt for approx 400 which was in no proper packing.So far going good.Just make sure to check its teeth and match number with previous belt

All of them or only 1 and where is waseem autos?
in one of the doors the long iron strings attached with the door is also not working what is the solution for that ?

avoid waseem autos-the proud fraudias. smaller items are ok but expensive items like shocks etc are 2 number rather 4 number. selling chinese crap as japanese.
try kohinoor autos near to them.Shops are in babu mohalla, near hathi chowk kashmir road saddar.
Problem regarding strings might be related to clip holding two strings together

Dear fellows after selling my mehran which i kept with great care and love i've bought a Cultus 2005 (late) registered in 2006
Alhamdulillah the car is in good condition but still requires some minor works to match up my taste

The part of the steering wheel you push down on, it is removable.

Just pull it off

Once it is off, you will see copper contacts, those might be dirty or worn

I assume its orignal and my car has covered around 7000 only since i bought it and changed all the belts etc .
its working great ALHAMDULILLAH ..i think i bought it under 600rupees

hahahahah . it looks like the PATRI which honks the horn is not touching the steering wheel at all positions..

You can do a simple DIY by opening the steering cover and you'll easily figure out whats causing this problem

It was not the contacts that touch when horn pressed or the patri but it was the bush ring contact at the underside of steering wheel so had to take off the steering box and cleaned it with wd40, dried and tested......... result: its all fine now
