i got it checked by an electrician,, he said he'll charge 500rs and the central locking will start working(drivers master lock controlling all) .. so was thinking about getting alarm system. i got rate of 3000 for steelmate from mintgomery road

You can try luck like me . don't get it fixed from electrician if you plan to install security system, they will take care of it. These simple alarms are useless get quote for 2 way system. Which shop you got price from?

thanks bro but can you shed some more light on it ... its price? features? how its better than steel mate and others as in some thread you mentioned steel mates can be bypassed but this can't... also what do you think about immobilizer system from BUTT sab which Mujtaba showed in below thread?

I don't know it's current price as I got it back in 2010. Then it was 3000-3500rs.
It's better than others as it is without the fuse which other Chinese systems have. If you remove the unit the car would not start as removing these Chinese systems allows you to start the car if the unit is removed. It's not impossible to bypass it but it takes time as after removing the unit some wiring under the hood is to be changed.
There is a secret button which you have to press every time you start the car or open the driver's door as the car turns off after 90 seconds. I don't know if Chinese systems have this feature..
So I have found it better than others.
It's available at jail Road... Opposite to Ali motors is iqbal motors and you can get the system from the first floor of the building where iqbal motors is.

One thing kayes is not having is the doors lock with brake every time. It just locks the doors once itself after a few seconds. Rest you have to lock them manually when the car is started.
I have it in my two cars and it's running good since 7 8 years.

In 2 way steel mate remote has LCD and it vibrates when alarm is triggered showing what caused alarm. Its rage is 1km.
