This uv curing compound was ordered from aliexpress a while back . The weather was not allowing to apply the coating to headlights. The sun was up today so gave the headlights a nice buff . And applied a coat of this protectant . Lets see what are the results . Looks fine so far . But it needs 24 hours curing time . (Fingers crossed)

Masha Allah shiny lights. Can u tell me procedure how to apply this coat. Yaar my headlight seems quirty dirty as well as dusty from inside.
Will u recommend me to open and clean then close it with silicon?

I have found that scratch-out works really good with removing yellowing/oxidation from headlights and u can apply a coat of wax or sealant every six months also.
Alternatively, there is a rustoleum 2x clearcoat which is a permanent fix but it needs heavy sanding. I only did scratch out method and it fixed the hazy headlights up to 95% i’d say. For the internal dust i am pretty sure u need to reseal the lights after cleaning them thoroughly with IPA or Acetone.

I tried to reseal the parking lights with silicone but it became ugly yar so i am not in mood to do experiment with head light
HAzy headlights and yellow ing /oxidation is becoming real headache to me.

I dont have any before pictures . I repeat this atmost twice a year . I used turtle compound for cutting the hazy layer . Then fine cutting using scratchout. Then i used the uv protectant ordered from aliexpress . Let it cure for a day . Then applied wax on top of it . The results are visible and hardly takes 40 -45 minutes for all four lights at the front .

As for aliexpress you have to pay at the time of ordering . And took almost 40 days to arrive .

Opening up the lens and body is not required. You can use any detergant and fill the lights with the mixture . Then give them a well shake. And repeat one to two times . Then dry them under direct sunlight . And install them back .
I tried this method with my mehran because dust was entered into the headlight . And it worked out for me

Use literally any compound (abrasive) usually petrol pumps have them in small size for Rs 30-50 they are made of fine abrasives which is more than enough for working on headlights, I used microfiber to hand-rub the headlights first in vertical motions, followed by horizontal and Alhamdulillah 99% of haze and scratches built up in the last 10 years were gone. It looks good as new.

Kazi Bhai, go to any cushion maker & select Cloth piece a per your like or matching and stitch it with light layer of sponge or foam
Then install it, cut and stitch exactly as per your dashboard shape
