repainted cars need repaint again after 2-3 years.. in genuine paint scratch is scratch in painted scratch need to repair because of puteen, one year park car out side paint ll finish, after detailing genuine car ll become new.

bahi koi faida nahi mere pass ek margalla hai cng kabhi nai lagi petrol per hai non accidental on original paint (faded :D) not even a single touch up bikul aam margalla jaise hi hai

get it spray no problem at all, just only spray no denting etc

Got my cultus 2004 engine changed after clocking 218000kms

Bought an charaa engine /head assembly out of a half cut japani cultus.
All work was done in a suzuki 3s

No its the same 1.0l engine out a japani cultus and the labour was about 4000 and parts were 4000 too ...we changed all the water hoses .the singapori engine we get in our local cultus cost around 45-50 depending on the conditions. ..while the japani engine start from 50 thousand. ..These engines have a computer with the carburettor to give signal to the power steering and other electronic. ...the engine i bought was the just the head and engine assembly. ...meaning i didnt get the gear box and other stuff ...my engine i took it out of a half cut japani cultus with my mehanic. It costed me 60k the guy was asking 65k.but the engine was in good nic and very clean inside ...less than 50 thousand km done on it
The compression was good....we went threw almost 80 engine in bilal ganj...this was the best we could find

About the engine number ...the engine is under 15days warranty and when that ends i will get the old number stamped on the new engine its very easy takes two hours in bilal ganj....there is alot of hassle in getting the new engine on the book....

Yes it is but to get the new engine number on the book is another hassle and again u have bribe the people at the registration /excise office to get it done smoothly.

sir jee if you got caught my police they will sent your car for lab test and if they successfully proved that it tempered your car will be seized and you will be aressted it better to get a new no on your book

Allah Khair karee yaar! I do see ur point here and i agree. Usually i have been stopped and they check the chaises number and dont bother about the engine number.it happened in my civic they just checked the the chaises number and they bother about the engine number.
But lets hope this engine is good and after the warranty period will look into the both options and if no bribing is involved will go for getting the new engine number on the book.

once i bought a 89 model margala sedan 1000cc with cultus 2004 carby engine gear AC whole engine room belongs to cultus, new engine num is mention on book also a 15 with this, bought in 220K n next day sold for 245K after a month a get call from owner "engine num tempered hai gari thany main band hai (chori ki gari ka engine tha grind kar k koi or num likha hua tha)" then they go there n pay 10K in thana n get the car i get back from owner in 237K then send back to old owner in 220K over all i get 25K 1st profit n then 17K loss, n lots of tension 4-5 days. in my 7-8 years car sale purchce business i only get loss in two cars one is this, n an other one which have fake papers given back to owner on 15K loss.
Now if these kind of cars send to laboratory then car n owner both ll go to jail, rest choice is yours

this happen with me 3 year ago, at that time you need to get a 15 verification(engine is not belongs to any stolen cars), 300 rs fee pay in excise n get new num n stemp on book, they cut the old num with pen n put new num there n a stamp of excise office, a agent ll do all for you in 1000 rs.

Harib is totally right, dont get into the mess of tempering the engine number of the car , just get the new engine number on the registration and you'll have no problems anywhere

no brother u r taking it wrong..i never said that repainted cars require frequent visits to mechanics. But only when compared with genuine, the later would be a lot easier to maintain..u r never sure about the severity of incident that forced it to be repainted. This does not apply to all but in case of genuine it can be ruled out.

ok so can u guess the price at which i sold my 1991 khyber in april 2013 which was bought in 2010..Isl Reg with only 1 back fender touched..Rest all genuine with scratches but nothing repainted..No mods all stock

we sold out TOTAL genuine swift(khyber shape), CNG fitted, just 70k kilometers done in 270k back in 2009. that car was a real gem but due to some reasons we had to let it go

And khyber can easily go above 140,even on cng

NO brother i dont agree with you, my mehran was painted from outside when we bought it , kept it for 4 years and the paint never got faded . thats just because of poor quality paint that it changes colour etc

thats also a point, you dont have to worry about genyan paint etc , just get a fresh shower
