2019 manufactured is easily available so why go for older. Pls check other dealers. 2019 in 215/55 16 is easily available in Karachi, I think 17 too.

Yes, shelf life is around 7 years. Actual aging starts when tyre is fitted on the rim.

You can get rates of UC6 from TyrePoint too.
Meanwhile, the Pirelli rates you got are pretty good. I got 68k quote from two places for 215/55 16.
For UC6 I got a rate of 19.5k per tyre for above size, which is even higher than this.
Bottom line, if you get a good deal for UC6, go for it. Otherwise the Pirelli’s you are getting are a good deal.

Continental UC6, MC5, Pirelli P7, Dunlop Veuro 303, and Michelin Primacy 4. All good choices in the 17-19k range. All these from my search for the same size. I eventually went for 215/55 16 Michelin Primacy 4 as I got great help on a good deal on those.

Find continental uc6 or mc5 then, if you won't then go for yokohama or michelins.

Finally down to the options available in 215/55 16. I already have 215/60 16’s so I’m ok with the 215 mm width. Veuro 303 for 17kMC5 for 16.5kUC6 for 19.5kPirelli P7 17kAll mid 2019 onwards manufactured. And Primacy 4 2018 manufactured for around 19k I think.

Practical choices seem to be MC5 or the Veuro 303. The other two are a tad too expensive. Mid 2019 manufacturing dates ok?

Which city are you in bro? The prices are too high. I got new tyres a week ago in islamabad, not sure about Veuro but for other 3 thee prices are higher.
first i got Michellin Primacy 4 for 17000 in 225/55/R16. However, didn't like for my car as they were too big to got them changed after a week, Got Pirelli P7 in 215/55/R16 for 16500. I was confused between Conti UC6 and Pirelli's, i was getting UC6 for 15500. All tyres were mid 2019, somewhere from may to august.

No i dont think this is right. Shelf life of a tyre matters, you should not get more than a year old manufactured tyres just to be on safe side. Once the tyres are installed, it doesn't matter. But, stored tyres is never a good idea. ALWAYS get as fresh as you can find. I read above you were considering to buy 2017 manufactured. DO NOT go for them. I got year old tyres only because of lockdown. Old tyres were 62k driven and i drive alot on motorways. If it wasn't for a lockdown, i'd never have gotten even a year old tyres.

try finding bridgestone, yokohama or dunlop tyres in the required size and preferably made in japan with most recent date.

i have used continental and i didnt find them better than japanese tyres.

Tire point has just dunlops and mirage available in 215 55 R17. Checked with few other shop keepers in pindi and only few Chinese brands and 2019 michelin primacy 4 is available. They seem to have run out of stock and new stock hasn't come yet
