advan db is good tyre no doubt, but very weak imo. It gets cut and punctures easily and also wear rate is high. Compared to Michelin XM2 Made in UK, they were way good in shape compared to advan even after being driven 60 thousand kms in my car.

yes my advans were 60k driven. were in very good shape but was tired of punctures. punctures started after driving 45k.

I have got yoko asvan dB.. Excellent tires.. Have been driven 30000 I'm easily.. The only con is they are too soft and whenever I go to any of unprepared roads they get punctured.. So would not recommend if there is some rural drive involved

Currently using bluEarth ES32 in my Corolla Gli.
2 things i can confirm.
1. Rolling resistance is very low. I found it lowest in this price range. Therefore helps in improving fuel economy.
2. Best wet grip.
In all other departments. This tyre performs OK.

i checked several tires @ Makhdoom's shop
CC6 was the hardest tire out of all of them
its hard, it will last way long but with way lesser grip

exactly i am also a victim of bad road grip with CC6 was never expecting this from a Tyre with that much hype.

All Advan DB v552 in market is smuggled. According to sheikh brother they are not importing DB v552 in 195/65/15 as it gets very expensive and no one will buy it. Confirmed by Mr Kashif of Sheikh brothers.

How is Michelin Energy saver plus compared to cc6?

CC6 Germany didnt impress me either. even though i got a european brand for the first time due to many recommendations. however never again.

Yokohama Bluearth A AE50 is still the best in my openion. try getting any japanese brand (yokohama, bridgestone, toyo and dunlop) latest manufacture year i.e. 2019 and it will be the best decision in terms of tyres.

advan DB is to soft - i felt like its made of silicone
very soft tires give extra grip
ruin economy
and wear out quick

only good for honda city or other cars with go kart suspensions

I am just waiting for the break in period of 500 km and then if it remains like this you will see a bad review of cc6 in a dedicated thread. For now not impressed much. Its not about expectations I am just comparing it to my ex worn out advans.

What difference does it really make if a company manufactures something in japan or Malaysia?
Companies solely do it to minimize the cost of shipping and to reduce the time of delivery in different parts of world or to reduce the cost of labour in some cases.

I had a similar experience shifting from advan to cc6. So my choice in next car was again advan

I am using blue earth yoko in vitz 13.. for last 4 years. Soft low noise till 100kmph. Handling is not bad. ABS kicks in a bit earlier than my corolla where I was using michellin xm2 energy saver.. I have used michellin xm2 two times in corolla. Made in UK.. Dry grip is good but not wet. Noise is quite low.. currently using Pirelli P7 for 1 year in corolla . Only draw back is weak side wall. One tyre side wall was cut in just 3 month use. After 40k drive while doing rotation I realized swollen sidewall.. although gudi was 8mm I replaced them. I got these Pirelli p7..my demand was low noise and good wet grip.. Pirelli was made in Brazil.. Noise is very high even at 80kmph. But wet grip is very good.. all tyre suppliers are giving smuggled tyres so they wear out earlier...metro Islamabad doesn't give any discount... these smugglers offer u 5k discount even.. and they enjoy very high fi life style... so probably earning a lot by providing smuggled and old tyres which wear quickly... nutshull i would recom blue earth
