I'm using CC6 since last two years since these were the only silent options in 175/70R13 for Cultus. I changed them from Chinese Rotalla tires that lasted me around 8 years and close to 100k km.

The Chinese tires were just ok. Had bad dry grip, horrible wet grip and extremely noisy. They used to lockup with the modest braking and I never felt confident with them for emergency braking. CC6 has good grip specially wet grip is excellent but I was utterly disappointed by their noise. Except for grip there was zero difference in comfort/noise. I was expecting my car to become super silent switching from 8 years old Chinese tires but trust me there was absolutely no change in noise above 40km/h.

I changed my old tires purely because of their age otherwise they had more than 50% tread left.
Yes I still regret my decision because I could have bought a decent pair of rims in the extra I had to pay for these, back then CC6 was newly launched and I waited around 3-4 months to get my hands on it. I was also of the view that they might get better after break-in but after two years they seem to be getting nosier.

Is it true?
Should I expect 10-15 punctures in 2 years period in es32?

I have es 32 on civic reborn. 0 punctures in 8k kms so far over the last 6 months. They were very comfortable and noiseless in the beginning. Now they feel hard, not sure if it's due to usage/age or the cold weather. But they still are noiseless. Let's see if they get back to their very comfortable self as weather changes over next couple of months.

soft is good. i never had any issue with Yokohama getting punctured again and again. however it does depend upon usage, if you visit sabzi mani every tyre is going to get punctures due to large number of nails lying around on the road.

used carefully and on cleaner roads every tyre will work better without punctures.

as per my experience my Yokohama dont even loose air pressure over extensive period of idle time on the parked car AL HAMD U LILLAH. so they are the best as per my experience.

Brother, recommendations for Continental instead of Yokohama were based on reviews, market repute, and many other factors. Every tyre is good as long as it meets / exceed ones' requirements, irrespective of make, manufacturing year, etc. For the very same tyre, Mr. A and Mr. B can have two different experiences altogether (as many factors count).

Yokohama Tyres are usually considered soft. Then Advan dB V552 is extremely soft, comfortable and noiseless (as is dB series), but at the same time, prone to punctures and damages due to soft tread and sidewall. The tyres which have comparatively hard sidewalls and treads, are usually less prone to punctures, however, at the same time, they are a bit noisy and uncomfortable. This is one of the basic principles, and companies mostly play between these factors. Then different types of tyres are made for different types of vehicles. Then for a same vehicle, different types are there (aimed towards fuel efficiency, comfort, pleasant drive, luxury, etc.). It might be difficult to get all the things in one tyre and brand. One will have to make compromises.

Then 1014, 1214, 1414 and 1814, etc. do not make much difference. There is only difference of 02 weeks in each with regards to manufacturing. 1014 means tyre was manufactured in the 10th week of year 20 14.

I am using Bridgestone Ecopia 185/65/R15 tyres in my current ride Vitz. Many people do not favour Bridgestne, however as per my experience, I am satisfied.

They are a bit noisy, but have good dry and wet grip (to me, wet grip seems more better than the dry grip), and it caters aquaplaning / hydroplaning wonderfully (People from twin cities know very well, what happens on 9th / Agha Shahi Avenue after rainfall? It seems as if whole rain water from the city has accumulated on this road).

Regarding punctures; I have experienced 02 punctures after driving for almost 15,000 Kms. 02 tyres are absolutely puncture less, and 02 tyres had got one puncture each, one tyre with at least 1-1.5" nail firmly "Ghussa hua" in the tyre tread (I do not know, from where that nail came from? and do not know its acronym in English)

So Yes, even with Great tyres, you can face some issues, but again, this is life, issues are there! You can't run away from them. If one subsides, another rises.

All tyres gets punctures. Its just that you were at wrong place at the wrong time. My yokohama advan db didn't get any punctures all the way to babusar top from Lahore, but a 6mm thick one inch bolt pierced through one tyre on motorway. It's a rubber and it will engulf sharp thing. Toyo teo plus smuggled tyres driven 15000kms now without any punctures.
Yokohama avs db v550 were driven 50k kms puncture less. Bridgestone my 02 got a big cut somehow.
Kumho ecsta spt 215/45 R17 bursted coz the cat eye was lose and tyre picked it up.
Continental cpc5 had a swollen sidewall due to a hit.
Otani ek1000 didn't get any puncture and suddenly at 40000kms it got 16 punctures in front two tyres coz some maniac threw nails on road.

I got experience with many tyres. All tyres damaged due to sharp things. There is no crap like soft tyres are more prone towards punctures.

My Continental CC6 has improved quite significantly after first 2000 KMs. Ride is quite soft and braking is as usual (no extra or less grip). Noise level is usual too.

So i think if you have the option of opting for Yokohama in the same price range that it will be a safer choice.

However Continental are not bad either. its just that expecting anything out of this world from Continental CC6 is not an actual case. its a normal tyre as it should be in the price range.

Recently its prices went exceptionally high thats why its imports got impacted.

I would recommend Bridgestone Ecopia series, and then Continental tyres.

Yokohama comes at 3rd place IMO.

Tecno series comes at 4th place, as its aimed towards budget series and low price. Ecopia series are better than these.

As the name says, Ecopia are low rolling resistance tyres, aimed towards fuel efficiency.
