55 kg ka cylinder nahin hota...its a 55l cylinder equivalent to 8kg...

my 2006 xli does around 100-110 with ac in city on full 55l tank

in 50L cylinder

Installed CNG in March 2008
Max average achieved 250Kms (56Kg cylinder) on M2 last year, driving alone at around 100-110
Yesterday and on Tuesday achieved 200 and 210 kms with three full heavy adults on board 110-120

In city it is doing 170-180 easily

Latest update: Full tank from Balkasar (outside M2) on Sunday night (3-4-10) and it gave me 220 kilometers which include both highway and city driving. I just love it.

Hi no secrets dear, just regular maintenance. I achieved the above milage with the normal spark plugs which have already done more than 22,000 kilometers and the original Toyota air filter (1,500 rs wala) which almost 10K Kms used already and I was thinking to change it but now I would not change it because it is doing its job so well. Japanese or Thai original Toyota parts are expensive but they last very long and do best job.

Also I use Shell HX-7 Synthetic (which is actually semi-synth) mobil oil.

i think gas from different stations will give you different millages. millage as well as pick greatly depends alot on quality of gas.

mine is mehran and it needs some adjustment its a 50KG cylynder it used to give 140+ but now its oly 80-90 kmph

180 Km without AC Local (islamabad). Have not checked with AC and on highway but i believe it will be a little over 180km on highway (w/o AC) as Islamabad roads are wide and traffic is smooth. Now i will check mileage with AC in local. LEt us see..i expect it to be 145-160.

how are these figures.any comments ??

That is really good average. Mine 05 xli does the same. On highways it is minimum 200 kms and I have done 250 twice on M2. Remember always use good quality or original airfilter from Toyota 3S dealership.

well, I am using Guard air filters..seems fine to me...... Usually i change with every oil change or maximim after 2 oil changes.
is there anythng special in Toyota air filter ?? like it increases mileage or helps to control back fire etc etc.........by the way until now i have not any issue of back firing.what exactly is that and what damage it cause to engine and what is the remedy ?

The last fill for 530 rs, reserve light came at 195 kms, all city driving, includes AC use also. Will post when finish the tank tomorrow.

Santro 06, GV with FF CNG, inter-city with mix AC gives 140-150 KM, while highway drive gives 170-175, usually I drive sensibly & around the 100 mark
