Thanks a lot for the kind reply. Can you elucidate further about this issue of airbag malfunctioning? Not to forget that I read another Grande owner complaining about faulty airbag, which couldn't deploy upon impact when the whole front part of Grande was demolished. One big advantage of Altis 1.8 CVTi over Altis 1.6 is airbag feature, but if that doesn't deploy when needed, then the whole purpose of spending extra money for airbag feature goes in vain.

I came to know now RYK showroom guyz checked that issue , they have opened the dashboard and found airbag was not connected with the sensor.... they have now connected it

Get a 1.6 Altis or Grande.
If you're thinking about XLI/GLI 1.3 then I would say don't buy it.
Get a good JDM instead in this range such as Toyota Aqua, Honda Fit etc.

Ya phir chacha chachi wali bat ho jayee gi , lakin fact is fact. My cousin is in Pak Army and he is posted in Sui. He was telling me his unit got new Grande 2015 for official work....he is not getting noise from dashboard but he is suffering from some kind of Airbags issue of "Malfunctioning"

My relative in rahimyar khan received first xli in his city and he is facing noise issue.....

its not a matter of chacha chachi kahani when you have relations you do have talks....when we do share on online post we could share with frnds & relatives....

I am not against Toyota, IMC not delivering good quality, in past i had 9Gen and 10th Gen xli.... brother go for other variant not 11gen

And in your second post you forgot that your uncle in Ryk had xli and he was facing noises. Not air bag issue. So how was air bag issue resolved in Ryk? Now dont tell me that Pak army sent that Grande to your uncle in Ryk all the way from Sui ( balochistan) to get it fixed.

I must say lolzzzzz...lolzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz hahahaha what an observation, i have mentioned two things

1. Sui (Pak Miltary School Got Grandee for their Operation work ) you can verify from my cousin who is currently serving as Major (facing airbag issue). Like you said they dont use so if u really wanna verify then pm me i will send you his number ....

2. My another cousin living in RYK purchased first black xli in RYK facing noise issue

This is the problem with our peoples , Corrupt logo ko pholo k har pehnatey ha aur phir kehtey ha k ghalti ho gai ...lolzzzzz

I have a 1.6 altis, compared to jdms, it's a waste of money. Compared to the local range, I believe it's a lot better than it's local rivals, tonnes better than the city. Gives 15km/l, I choose this over a gli at because I wanted a car with better mileage and something that won't let me Down no matter whatever the terrain

everyone is telling experience of chacha mama bhatija etc
no one have his own experience..
some one will come up like i drove a grande and i felt some noises
while actual owners are telling they have no issue of any noises lol
am not able to recognise whos true and whos sharing biased reviews ..

You won't have any issue or complaints there. Just a heads up, check the options list on the 1.6, the stock one lacks some basics

Tahir dont you remember that in the main thread of 11th gen there was a big pblm pointed out by a person (can't remember his name). He bought a brand new grande but after some days he found out that there were holes in door pillars. They were filled by some thing initially but after some days they were visible. He complained to his dealership and a team from IMC visited him. Altough they agreed to replace the car but the poor owner ended up paying wht again.
If you dig the main thread of 11th gen you will find it.

Dear brother in Sui and kashmoor their is no showroom, they hav purchased it from RYK showroom so it should be nearst to them and also their main dealer. thats why they hav bought it their.
