Trip got cancelled cause of cloudy weather.

GtiR took my Becharo for few days so i took my brother's ride, this is not the same Land which oodh mentioned in his safarnama.

With oodh i went to a different land, here is the picture

HB just told you about it. Thanks to his generosity and willingness, we were all set to go to his lands - until yesterday afternoon. Normally, we don't plan skywatching sessions in July because this is the month with the highest average cloud cover in southern Pakistan. However, we did it this time, but then had to postpone the trip at the eleventh hour. But never mind. We have Alhmadulillah had four new Moon sessions at dark sites this year, and winter is yet to come. Most skywatchers in the northern hemisphere have had mostly cloudy weather this year so far.

Yesterday, I thought you were going with us.

That is was I felt-- while the cloudy weather is most appropriate to watch the stars on land, it is insupportable for gazing the stars on sky:)

Let's request bhai GtiR to post a thread of his expedition on Becharo-- if not a 'personal' activity:)

This means that the program planned at 10:45 was postponed at eleventh hour:) Insha Allah there will be more favourable occasions for the activity.

Despite my petty knowledge about stars, I would love to accompany you:$. The only two things I remember from my school days are The North Star and The Great Bear. However I do know the names and sequence of nine planets in our solar system:). Does it qualify me to come along?

I am messaging you my contacts and will appreciate an intimation of such plan. We will decide on the basis of what Allah has for us:)

My dear brother, Assalam Alaikum.

I agree to the limitations, but age is the last thing that matters when you want to explore locations. You can start by visiting approachable spots along with your family and like-minded buddies. An explorer doesn't need to own the latest model of SUV. He does it using the available resources-- doing it on foot, using public transport or a bicycle. The only thing required is the 'tharak' to catch sight of new places. Please go through the travel threads of your PW brothers and you will find them travelling on difficult terrains and visiting beautiful locations on cycles, motorcycles, old cars, etc. Hats off to them.

Do post a travel thread here even if you travel home~Keamari~Manorra~home:D

I think the best time to watch Stars is in Winter, about GtiR his brother got married, Family came from US and other parts of the world. I got my Pajero back yesterday, just as i was replying in this topic, he called again.. "Hanif Bhai Pajero milegi" and i said yes... he will be here in 10 mins.
