I thought drand carnival was local. Still the price can be reduced by a large amount. So many people are buying fortuner for 70-80 laakh they will surely buy a land cruiser which is 10 times better than a fortuner. Seating can be done easily by installing smaller seats and people have the option of replacing smaller seats with standard sized. Interior size of an lc should be similar or larger than a carnivals

Which is 80,00,000rs and the kia grand carnival costs for 97000sr which is 41,00,000rs if the
Grand carnival base model LX costs 49,00,000rs here than the land cruiser should cost maximum 1 crore or around it

There's a huge market for SUVs in Pakistan used that's why imported Prado are sold at 1cr + rupees

To make it Reasonable they have to 100% manufacture/make it in Pakistan
& buy the way people who buy SUVs because of there comfort level not seating capacity & by changing the seats of a brand new vehicle can void the warranty if you get !!

I am not aware od the difference between the pakistani and the saudi carnival but yes if the tax cut is applicable then a 1 crore lc will be a great car for pakistani market. Land cruiser will be high in demand if sold in 1 crore but toyota indus ka kia bharosa. They may use low quality parts in it and will definitely demand more than 1 crore

If 9 seats can be found in a carnival then an lc200 can also have 9 seats. In Pakistan we buy suv for taur and shashka. Andar beshak jaisi bhi seating ho. If its available in 1 crore with small alto size seats people will still buy it and say ab family k ziada banday beth sakain gay.

Compare Fortuner to Prado
Prado used 2.7L Patrol will cost around 80 / 90lacs
Fortuner is 2.8 turbocharged diesel brand new cost 80 / 90 lacs
1GD engine has the torque power to give that SUV the power to go point a to point b easily & efficienctly & it has better off road capability compared to 2.7L patrol prado

I don't think so if a person has a 1cr + budget & if he need a vehicle that can accommodate more people then the person can buy a JDM Hiace which has more seating capacity

I would still prefer the used prado on the fortuner and so will many others due to better comfort.
The prado should be compared to 2.7 petrol fortuner. Anyone who has driven both will tell you that there is a massive difference in ride quality.

Sedans are far more comfortable in long journeys and pakistani people dont buy suvs for comfort. Its for showing off and shashka.
Now please dont say that a baleno is less comfortable than 200 series.
Compare the suv to a large sedan like crown or a 7 series bimmer or an eclass. Now those cars fall in the samr price bracket and are far far far more comfortable.

I don't agree with with you there are a lot of land cruisers on road rather than a merc crown & beamer
and brother these German vehicles might be very comfortable but they're also very complicated to work you have to maintain them by a well reputable work shop are maintaining a germen vehicle isn't that easy that you are comparing it with TOYOTA land cruiser & I'm sure most of the people who own merc beamer etc will rely more on their TOYOTA Land Cruiser

Talking about diesel variant because I would buy a diesel fortuner over Prado anyday diesel fortuner is Powerfull & Economic compared to Patrol cause diesel engine has the torque to move that heavy SUV to point a to point b easily then patrol SUV
