well, having a short view of the whole thread,
i wld like to say a few words in front of all of my Pakistani Motorcyclists
its a long time ago story when cg125 was 1st designed n launched, my reasearch work tells it as a effort of 1976
if we consider that, our latest cg125 of 2011 model has not v different from the original 1
a few minor changes were made in Pakistan, which are not even considerable, and only 1 important change was made.
we have been seeing this with diff. designs of stickers, which they call Graphics, do thewse graphics of our very own cg125 increase aero dynamics?
the only thing we found them doing is CDI,
and minor things which are not considered as new models in other world, but we did here:
change of stickers,
change of seat design,
once change in seat size,
and in 2010 almost once in life time Change in Grips
NOW I WLD LIKE TO ASK ALL OF YOU, DO YOU THINK THAT IF WE WLD NOT HAV STORM125, METRO 125, PAK HERO LOCAL N IMPORTED 125s, EXCEL 125, ZXMCO 125, ASIA HERO 125 ETC ETC., THEN ATLAS HONDA WLD HAV LAUNCHED DELUXE 125?
YES, YOU ARE RIGHT, THEY WLD HAVE NOT LAUNCHED DLUX
this was all because the new companies came and launched new products, that pushed honda to feel tough times and launch such so called new things,
but again Zyaadti ki inteha, no where in the world a hnda bike like dlux is without Self Starter,
this bike has engine, very much identical to old cg125.
so wat they did?
do we deserve this?
do they offer same in India and China?
do they use same old carb technology everywhere in the world?
do we have Rs.15/- per ltr petrol and indians Rs80/- per ltr?
NO NO NO
we must thank Ravi, Metro, pak hero, Hero, Zxmco, Excel who did atleast a little.
if you guys say they are not comparable with CG125 in qlty, then y dont u forget, cg125 is from atlas honda n honda is world's one of the best 2 wheeler, zxmco is not equal to that, pak hero is not equal to that....
but if we guys buy those products, promote them, encourage them, then i m sure they will give better than atlas honda.
infact, as zxmco said, zxmco 125 is 117kgs, where as dlux is 112kgs and storm 111kgs, if this bike is good enough to move this weight well and stand still for six years then i must say i wld luv to buy that,,, now i am positive for this.
come out of stone age, think yourself, know your need find the best match in bikes, cg125 is not the solution of every problem of ours, again its 1976.
right now, in our trips i dont find cg125 bcoz our boys feel tough with this bike under their hands in long drives,,
