Is there anyway to use warid LTE on Nexus 5, Model : LG-D820?

Guys, I was pretty amazed to see that Nexus 5, Model: D820 is not compatible with warid LTE, the mobile phone has LTE but as it is a US model so it does not support warid LTE.

Is there anyway warid LTE can be used on Nexus 5 LG-D820??

It can be. I'm using it currently. Firstly you have to know a little bit about the Android OS and you have to have a rooted device with a kernel that supports DIAG mode. Also you need to know your SPC code. Everything is quite easy(for me at least) but perform at your own risk as this may brick your device permanently. What this'll do is that it'll add baseband 3 and 8 and swap out lte band 26 and another one.

but i just know that it has android 5.1.1 and it is not rooted. Can you guide me through the process?

as i specially bought a lte sim and now it says not supported.

can you guide if this has something to do with the hardware of software as i am totally layman in this regard.

The process is easy but its tricky, firstly you'll have to root your phone(Rooting Voids Warranty) Secondly you have to use logcat to obtain the SPC code for your device. Next install the Nexus field test app. Next is to change the band priority of specific bands. Then use the QPST tool with the com at which you Nexus is connected in bootloader mode. In simple terms you need to delete the Google modem settings and upload the qualcomm factory spec modem drivers to support band 3. Now the process has been explained by @cycloid14 already. Though many have tried successfully and nexus 5 is very hard to brick, but chance of brick in it remains. Hire a professional android rooter who knows this kind of stuff.

can we add LTE band 3 1800 in any LTE supported set. like LG G2 etc. etc. etc. isnt this some hardware supported thingy or bands are managed through software. ???
