Yeah, and even if you manage to upgrade it, you will not be able to carry most of the upgrades on your next latest PC, as latest motherboards have no backward compatibility with that much old PC components. You cannot even install 760's ram on latest motherboards.
Consoles are best and peace of mind for the next few years, though you will need to Jailbreak or Jtag it or otherwise it will empty your wallet!. Better invest in latest console, Xbox One. PS3, which was released in 2006 is too old now, almost as old as Dell 760 [emoji14].
You can go for used PCs too, as most of them are in very good condition (not physically btw). That Hackintosh stuff is not worth the effort, P.S I hate Mac and iOS. Linux is too complicated for an ordinary user. I am now installing portable windows 8.1 on a USB flash drive, just plug it in any PC/Laptop and then you can use your personal windows everywhere!
