mics is right. plus if you drive in water puddles etc clutch gets wasted,,
or if you have a habit of racing,, normal clutch plate wont last,, that is why they make racing clutch.
about driving through standing rain water on road (floaded),, maintain one speed,, for example in first gear,, slow enough not to splash too much water but fast enough to keep away engine to losing power. and keep your foot off clutch.. press accelerator as you drive into deep water to keep water getting in from exhaust.
